There is no need of authorization letter but a third party has to show his/her HongKong ID/Macao ID or passport. - All visa holders can enter Vietnam on or after the arrival date indicated in the visa and must depart Vietnam on or before the expiry date of the visa. Warning: Visa online is NOT a service provided by the Vietnamese Government. In addition, your personal data can be publicly leaked out. You should apply for visa at the Consulate General of Vietnam in the Hong Kong SAR. Requirements for Vietnam visa 1. Original passport (remains valid at least one month from the expiry date of the visa), 2. 01 photo (4x6cm, taken not more than 6 months ago, regardless of back or colour), 3. 01 visa form (click here to download) with full details, be signed by the applicant. 4. Letter of invitation or sponsorship from an institution and/or individual in Vietnam (if any for reference only).
5. Foreigners holding ordinary passports issued by the some Special Countries will be required to submit booking air round ticket, booking hotel, contact persons and scheduled length of stay and plan in Vietnam, Hong Kong ID (if any). Visa fee (including non-refundable processing fee) will be collected in cash when application form is submitted Processing time - Normal service: 03 working days (submission day excluded) (It may take longer in special cases) - Express service: visa can be picked up within a day and extra fee required (inapplicable for those from Special Countries); Visa Voucher and Official Receipt given by staff must be submitted when collecting visa, a third party must also show his/her Hong Kong ID/Macao ID or passport. Type of Visa - One month, single entry: Visa holder can enter Vietnam only one time and stay in Vietnam up to 30 days from the arrival date indicated in the visa. - One month, multiple entries: Visa holder can enter Vietnam many times within one month and stay in Vietnam up to 30 days from the arrival date indicated in the visa. - Three month, multiple entries: Visa holder can enter Vietnam many times within three months and stay in Vietnam up to 90 days from the arrival date indicated in the visa.
