Child Development: Students are following the OCR Cambridge National Level 1/2 in Child Development. At the moment there is no revision guide available for this new course. Students will have a comprehensive set of class notes that they can use for revision purposes and have been informed that the exam element covers the following topics:- Family and home life Anatomy Re- production Pregnancy Labour and Birth Postnatal Care and Development There are some resources available to students through the shared resources section of the school network called ORCA which contain revision and testing power points. There is a text book for this course although it is very expensive and not a revision guide. Students do not need to have this textbook but may be able to loan it from a library during exam time. Textiles: The following revision guide supports the AQA GCSE: Design and Technology course. This revision guide was offered to all Y10 students via parent s email addresses in November and December 2017. The cost to purchase through school was 3.99 instead of a RRP of 10.99. If there is sufficient demand then we can place another order. Mr Cooper is looking at a range of online support materials and further information will follow on this. Ø Students will also have dedicated revision lessons from February half term onwards.
