NEW BUSINESS: E.1 Vote to Call for an Executive Session on Monday, April 9, 2018 If approved by a majority vote, the Executive Session will be held immediately following the vote to go into Executive Session in the Computer Room pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.03 (A) (1), which states that an Executive Session may be held for the purpose of: A. A.R.S. 38-431.03.A. (1): Discussion or consideration of employment, assignment, appointment, promotion, demotion, dismissal, salaries, disciplining or resignation of a public officer, appointee or employee of any public body, except that, with the exception of salary discussions, an officer, appointee or employee may demand that the discussion or consideration occur at a public meeting. Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.03(A)(3), (4) and (7), the Board will discuss with, consult with, obtain legal advice from and may instruct its attorneys regarding the terms of an offer from the City of Phoenix to buy easements over certain property owned by the District for the widening of 27 th Avenue from Lower Buckeye to Buckeye Road and to make certain sidewalk and electrical improvements. Garcia School E.3 Consideration of Approval to Operate on a Summer Schedule for the Summer of 2018 For the past 36 years, twelve month employees have worked a summer schedule of four days a week, ten hours a day. For the summer of 2018, it is recommended that twelvemonth employees have Fridays off, working from Monday through Thursday, effective the week of May 28, 2018. The regular five-day week would resume the week of July 23, 2018. The Food Service Department, Maintenance/Operations/Transportation Department and Information Systems employees on staff during the summer will work an 8-hour, 5-day schedule. E.4 Consideration of Approval of Purchase of Easements by the City of Phoenix The Board will discuss the current terms of the Purchase Agreement, the Sidewalk Easement, the Electrical Easement and the Temporary Construction Easement presented by the City of Phoenix for the purchase of easements from the District. Based upon such discussion, the Board may vote to take action, which action could include directing staff and/or counsel to draft and finalize any and all agreements necessary to implement the Board s desires and authorizing the Governing Board President to execute such agreements.

EDS held their rate at 4% under the current premiums and agreed to a 3-year guarantee, as requested effective until 2020.
