RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT NO. 7 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH HARRIS NORTHSTAR (RFP 09-13-D) FOR CUSTOMER INFORMATION SYSTEM (CIS) REPLACEMENT 1) Resolution No. 09-237 authorized a contract with Harris NorthStar to provide the District with software license, implementation and support and maintenance for a new CIS solution. 2) Staff recommends approval of Amendment No. 7 with Harris NorthStar to encrypt and store passwords for ecare customers in the Northstar database. (A copy of this memorandum and the scope of work for this modification is attached hereto and made a part hereof.) modification. 3) Harris NorthStar has submitted a fixed cost of $4,600.00 for this 4) It is in the best interest of the District to issue Amendment No. 7 to the Contract with Harris NorthStar and sign the attached modification quote. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of Public Utility District No. 1 of Douglas County, Washington, that the District s General Manager is hereby authorized and directed to issue Amendment No. 7 to Harris NorthStar and sign the attached modification quote at a cost to the District of $4,600.00, thereby increasing the total Contract amount to $279,120.00. RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH SSP INNOVATIONS, LLC FOR GIS SOLUTION MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT 1) The District has an on-going need to support the GIS and work order systems. SSP Innovations, LLC implemented the District s GIS and work order systems and are best suited to provide this on-going support. 2) Staff recommends approval of the following Professional Service Agreement with SSP Innovations, LLC which allows on-going support services. 3) It is in the best interests of the District to enter into a Professional Service Agreement with SSP Innovations, LLC for on-going support for the District s GIS and work order systems. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of Public Utility District No. 1 of Douglas County, Washington, that the District s General Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a Professional Service Agreement with SSP Innovations, LLC for on-going support for the District s GIS and work order systems, the cost of which is not to exceed $50,000 with an expiration date of 12/31/2014. ADOPTED this 13th day of January, 2014.
RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN IPTV TRANSPORT RIGHTS AGREEMENT WITH KXLY-TV 1) The District operates a video headend that provides Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service to retail service providers. 2) Most television content owners require the District to enter into video transport agreements to receive the television signal and transport it to retail service providers. KXLY-TV. 3) District Staff have negotiated terms for an IPTV Transport Rights Agreement with 4) It is in the best interest of the District to enter into the IPTV Transport Rights Agreement to provide video service. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of Public Utility District No. 1 of Douglas County, Washington, that the District's General Manager is authorized to sign an IPTV Transport Rights Agreement with KXLY-TV. ADOPTED this 13 th day of January, 2014.
RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT 13-22-W TO REEVES LAWN AND SPRAY SERVICE, LLC FOR 2014 GROUNDS MAINTENANCE 1) By Resolution No. 13-186, dated November 25, 2013, the District called for bids under Bid Document 13-22-W, 2014 Grounds Maintenance. 2) On January 6, 2014 the District opened one bid as follows: Bidder Total for Bid Comparison Reeves Lawn and Spray Service, LLC $192,565.00 East Wenatchee, Washington Engineer s Estimate $184,000.00 3) District staff have reviewed the bid and found that the bid from Reeves Lawn and Spray Service, LLC meets all terms and conditions of Bid Document 13-22-W. A review of the bidder s experience, qualifications, financial and work references verified that this company fulfills all necessary requirements and recommends award of Contract 13-22-W to Reeves Lawn and Spray Service, LLC. 4) It is in the best interests of the District to award Contract 13-22-W to the lowest responsive bidder, Reeves Lawn and Spray Service, LLC, with an authorized expenditure of $250,000.00. At the District s discretion, this contract has the provision for two yearly renewals after the initial Contract expires on December 31, 2014. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of Public Utility District No. 1 of Douglas County, Washington, that Contract 13-22-W is awarded to Reeves Lawn and Spray Service, LLC. The President, Vice President and Secretary of the Commission are authorized to issue a Contract with Reeves Lawn and Spray Service, LLC subject to the filing of the Contract and a
Performance and Payment Bond in accordance with the District s specifications and which contract and bond are to be in a form that is satisfactory to the District. ADOPTED this 13th day of January, 2014.
