Please note that lower level language courses 202 and below, foundational and upper level intermediate courses, as well as research and practicum courses that qualify for the International Studies major are NOT listed below, they can be found in the course catalog for the university or on the International Studies website at: http://catalog.towson.edu/undergraduate/liberal-arts/internationalstudies/ international-studies-ba/ or http://www.towson.edu/cla/departments/interdisciplinary/undergrad/international/r esources.html Many of these courses require prerequisite courses in their specific departments or that students are enrolled as majors in those departments. If this is the case, you must get the permission of the respective instructors or departments to enroll in these courses. Neither the Director of International Studies nor any International Studies advisor can add students to courses. If you plan on doing an INST internship you must enroll in INST 493 and consult with Dr. John McTague (jmctague@towson.edu) prior to enrollment. PLEASE make sure that if you are signing up for a topics course in a department with a generic upper level topics course number that you sign up for the specific course that qualifies for International Studies. Some departments will have multiple topics courses under the same course number with different sections. If you sign up for the wrong topics course in any discipline listed below the course will not be counted as a qualifying course for the International Studies major or minor.
