Be+y Mills #1 Be prepared - Do the required work upfront Ø Prepara5on for LMS implementa5on courses to bring over, establish name conven5on & formafng Ø IDs, user logon info Prepare staff Ø Lots of informa5on - email, handouts, pocket guides Ø Open House, meet and greet, with LCD demos, round to the departments and have food Posi5ve aftude about the implementa5on Ø Show WIIFM!! Ø Staged rollout: priori5ze the most important, must have features and implement in stages

How do you measure the ROI of your LMS/ TMS implementa5on? Be+y Mills We look at the number of: Ø live classes with instructors + staff aoending Ø staff and salaries to replace those who aoended training versus what was replaced by online programs Time in live classes was reduced by supplemen5ng Ø online reading before class Ø tes5ng online aier class There are many other reports and measures the organiza5on generates regularly Ø e.g., following a large Fall Preven5on training program, numbers looked at training and then by area to see % reduc5on
How do you measure the ROI of your LMS/ TMS implementa5on? Linda Morrison From a legal perspec5ve it s simple Ø It gives us the ability to the check the comple5on of legally required training for the whole organiza5on In terms of L&D, it is more complicated Ø Not necessarily a system problem Ø More due to nature of a business that is quickly moving and changing Ø Academy provides us with reports on number of people trained, hours of training, etc. to use in an ROI case

Be+y Mills We see this as a cri5cal need Ø Future of the LMS - - more integrated services Organiza5ons need all the support they can get Ø to iden5fy, manage and support their staff in order to meet their strategic goals We are just now doing our homework Ø gefng our job codes, descrip5ons, etc. Our next big move is the TMS and the LMS working together
