General Fund Board Report June 14, 2017 Agenda Item IX Action Items Attached hereto is a listing of invoices and checks now due for supplies, materials, equipment or services delivered or rendered to the School District. These invoices and checks represent purchases made or services ordered upon approved resolutions of the Board of Education for the current fiscal year. Where required or when possible, competitive prices have been obtained prior to placing orders, and where quality specifications permitted, purchases were made or services obtained at the lowest price quoted. Invoices examined and recommended for approval by the Board of Education. RESOLUTION NUMBER 4 - APPROVAL OF CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby approve the request of Jaleelah Ahmed to attend the Special Populations Conference in East Lansing, MI September 18 & 19, 2017. Funded with Immigrant Funds. RESOLUTION NUMBER 5 - APPROVAL OF CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby approve the request of the following individuals to attend Leadership Coaching for High Performance in Grand Rapids, MI August 7-10, 2017, at a cost of $1,065.00 per person: Corey Pitts Colleen Stevens Jaleelah Ahmed Nuo Ivezaj Chris Vraniak Kristen Hurt John Summerhill 8

RESOLUTION NUMBER 6 - APPROVAL OF CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby approve the request of Craig Daniels and Jessica Schippert to attend the 21 st Century Community Learning Center Summer Institute in Philadelphia, PA July 25-27, 2017. Funded through 21 st Century Grant. RESOLUTION NUMBER 7 - APPROVAL OF CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby approve the request of the following individuals to attend the 21 st Century Community Learning Center Fall Kick Off in Mt. RESOLUTION NUMBER 8 - APPROVAL OF MHSAA MEMBERSHIP RESOLVED, that the Hamtramck Board of Education does hereby adopt the Michigan High School Athletic Association Membership Resolution as outlined for the year August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2018. RESOLUTION NUMBER 9 - APPROVAL OF ELL MANUAL RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby approve the ELL Manual for Hamtramck Public Schools as presented. 10

RESOLUTION NUMBER 10 - AWARDING OF BID FOR CUSTODIAL SERVICES RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby award the bid for Custodial Services to Enviro-clean being the lowest bidder meeting specifications. Abstain RESOLUTION NUMBER 11 - AWARDING OF BID FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby award the bid for Transportation Services to Trinity Transportation being the lowest bidder meeting specifications.
