A World Model of Reconstruction This is joint efforts of Government and NGOs, Charity Foundation, Enterprises, and suffered people themselves. Taiwan has further revised the Disaster Prevention & Protection Act on August 5, 2010. An office led by Premier level was founded & The rescue action becomes the regular mission of the military units. 20120504_SSMS2012 27

Taiwan s Experience Disaster prevention is more important than disaster relief; avoidance of disaster is better than prevention of disaster. Anticipate the most, prepare for the worst, dispose in advance, deploy troops beforehand, and ensure readiness for immediate rescue operations. 20120504_SSMS2012 28
