To all of our S.A.L. Membership and Legionaries, We want to start off by thanking all of the American Legion Post 7 Family for another amazing Best of the Best Auto Show, although we did not have quite the turn out as previous years, we were still able to be successful and donate to a veteran in need of assistance. A special thank you to Post Chaplain Kurt Hinson for jumping in on the team to obtain trophies and be our amazing DJ, Post Adjutant and Finance Officer Lisette Eckman for obtaining raffle prizes, and ALR Director Mike Cracker Bailey for assisting on the Flyers. Without the team of Post 7 this would not be such a huge success. As of last meeting, 6/3/2018, the S.A.L. voted to suspend monthly meetings through the summer and begin again in September 2018. With that being said, we want to get a better idea on what time of the week would be best for our membership to meet. As of right now it is the first Sunday of the month at 1pm. We would like to see the faces of our membership in Tucson and get your ideas on projects or activities you would like to participate in and help grow the S.A.L. at Post 7. We have a great young group of men that have the drive and willingness to help out our Post and community. Now we need you to help show the community what we are capable of as a Squadron. Please feel free to contact the post or send an email to mmsquadron07@gmail.com with your preferred meeting time. During these dormant months the new 2018-19 officers, Commander Gage Eckman, Sr Vice Ben Bresnahan and Sgt At Arms J.C. Baird of Squadron 7 will be reaching out to obtain and update the records of our valued membership to ensure you are getting the Squadron information and your membership cards. Any questions feel free to reach out to the squadron email or contact the post and a Squadron member will return your call as soon as we get the message. Sincerely, Squadron 7 Officers July 4th Membership Appreciation Come join us for food, fun, fireworks, and family! Free burgers and hot dogs after 5 pm. Lounge will open at noon.
