If any relative of the tenderer is an employee of CSIR-NAL, the name, designation and relationship of such employee shall be intimated in writing, while submitting the tender. Details of the scope of work and terms & conditions Instructions to Tenderers 1. The contractor has to submit a Sealed cover superscribed as Tender for Supply of Potable water to CSIR-NAL consisting of a) Technical details including their previous experience, the number of EPI Coated Water Tankers owned by them, vehicle model, capacity, registration number etc. They should also submit R.C. book (Xerox copy) in support of the declaration. Necessary test certificate regarding potability of water from approved lab to be submitted. b) Financial Quote c) EMD d) Cost of Tender Document SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Supply of potable water by EPI coated tankers from approved tested source (test certificate from approved lab to be submitted by the agency every month to Administration) to Kodihalli underground sumps. A minimum of 60 KL per day to maximum quantity as directed by tender authority subjected to ceiling limit of 120 KL per day. 2. EBU will provide statement of quantity of water supplied by vendor (measured through meter) to administration for raising the bill and release of payment as per CSIR rules applicable. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The prospective tenderers shall acquaint themselves about the requirements before submitting their tenders. Tenders will be opened in the presence of those tenderers who choose to be present. 2. The tenders should be submitted in a sealed cover with the name of the contract written on the envelope. 3. The contractor shall enclose the EMD by way of DD for a sum of `5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) along with tender document. 4. The EMD liable to be forfeited if the contractor selected for the work fails to sign the formal agreement or fails to start the work on the date stipulated in the work order. Tenders without EMD and incomplete tenders are liable to be rejected. 3
5. Income Tax will be recovered from the bills of the Contractor as per applicable Govt. of India`s orders and necessary TDS certificate will be issued. 6. GST or any modified tax structure as applicable from time to time shall be paid to tax authorities or reimbursed, against documentary evidence of remittance as per rules on subject. 7. Complete Office Address along with telephone number are to be furnished. 8. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for all the accidents or injuries. The Laboratory shall not be liable for any claims/compensation due to such accident/injury/death. 9. The contract shall be for a period of One year from the date of signing the agreement. 10. The contractor shall execute an agreement on a non-judicial stamp paper of `200/- before taking up the contract agreement to abide by all the terms & conditions mentioned therein as per the format of the agreement. 11.
