JUSTIN HERMAN PLAZA AND SUE BIERMAN PARK PLAZA Discussion and possible action to approve: 1) a request by The Guardsmen to produce The First and Only Barbecue Competition in San Francisco and the Best Culinary Competition in the Bay Area, on August 11, 2007, 2) a request to sell food, beer and wine and 3) a request to modify the sound policy and allow amplified sound from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. (ACTION ITEM) 8. JOSEPH L. ALIOTO PERFORMING ARTS PIAZZA Discussion and possible action to approve: 1) a request by the Brazilian Foundation of America to produce the First Brazilian Expo on Sunday, August 12, 2007 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with amplified music, cultural activities, ethnic food and drinks, and 2) a request to sell beer and wine. (ACTION ITEM) 9. WASHINGTON SQUARE Discussion and possible action to approve: 1) a request from Sunset Promotions to produce the 14 th Annual North Beach Jazz Festival at Washington Square on July 28-29, 2) a request to modify the amplified sound policy and permit amplified sound from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and 3) alcohol consumption in Washington Square.
