Original outline Planning Permission was granted in February 2007 of 9/2006/0780/MR with approval of reserved matters granted 15/04/2010 Ref 9/2010/0036/RSD. Conditions relating to contamination, noise and levels were discharged in 2011 and Phase I and Phase II site investigation reports have been completed by Ecologica 20/08/210 and are available for inspection. South Derbyshire District Council confirmed in September 2013 that conditions have been discharged and the construction of the visibility splay and cross over deemed that site works have been commenced. The site is an excellent location with a pleasant back drop, yet very convenient for a wide variety of local shopping facilities, Leisure facilities, transport links and the town centre, making this an excellent development opportunity for which there is likely to be a good level of demand.
