If you want to post more often than 2-3 per day, you can comment on your own posts to provide an update. 7. Be strategic about your messaging and timing. Best times of day for posting are early morning and mid/late afternoon. 8. Use hashtag #EPGivingDay to make your post searchable with all other related El Paso Giving Day posts. 2

SOCIAL MEDIA TIPS INSTAGRAM: Upload images that showcase action: A meeting, an event, the work team, people. Use clear text Squared images work better 6 tips to engage on Instagram: 1. Include Clear Calls to Action: Ask the audience to do something such as tag the non profit you like the most or double tap if you can t wait for El Paso Giving Day 2. Use Location for Calls to Action: Instagram won t let you include active links in your caption. Including a location allows you to send them to another page or website. Also, links can be included in the main description. Ask people to see the link in our profile to redirect people. 3. Use relevant hashtags: Hashtags are the easiest way to stand out on instagram. Let people find you when including relevant hashtags to your posts. For example, if you post an image of your nonprofit you can use the #Volunteer hashtag #helpingthecommunity #community #elpaso - use any hashtag that is relevant to the audience you are trying to reach. 4. Do Shout-outs: Promote someone else s instagram to get more attention. Feel free to tag, or share anything El Paso Giving Day publishes to promote your account. 5.
