Mr. Tieperman and Mr. Bresnan clarified that standing committees can have no additional voting members other than the elected officials themselves. He provided an earlier email to help clarify the questions that previously arose with standing committees and advisory boards. Mr. Tieperman explained that some of the confusion stemmed from an attempt to include elected Supervisors on the Planning Commission and empower the Commission to serve as a standing committee on planning and zoning-related matters. However, Mr. Bresnan opined that this does not pass legal muster. Board members agreed that the Planning Commission should stay in its current form. Discussion will resume at the next meeting, when there will be a full contingency on the Board. NEW BUSINESS (ACTION/DISCUSSION ITEMS) 7. Presentation from Maille regarding the Township s 2016 Audit.
