July 14, 2014. Donald R. Pozzi, County Judge, opened the meeting to anyone wishing to address general County business which was not on the meeting agenda. taxation. Mr. Mark Loffgren, 116 Wilshire Drive, expressed concerns regarding fairness in Mrs. Judy Feig, Westpark Avenue, expressed concerns regarding fireworks and suggested a County-wide fireworks ban. Judge Pozzi stated that Commissioners Court does not have the authority to ban fireworks in the County and suggested that Mrs. Feig speak with her state representative. Judge Pozzi presented the Texas Historical Commission s 2013 Distinguished Service Award to the Victoria County Historical Commission. Mrs. Bobbie Guinn accepted the award on behalf of the Victoria County Historical Commission. - CONTINUED -

RECEIVE COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT 2013 VICTORIA (7-23:52) 7. July 14, 2014. Mr. Stephen Van Manen, C.P.A. with Harrison, Waldrop, and Uherek, L.L.P., presented key the points of the 2013 County of Victoria Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and answered questions from the Court. Moved by Gary Burns and seconded by Clint C. Ives, the Commissioners Court received the County of Victoria Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for 2013. REPORT ARCHITECT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS VICTORIA (8a-38:51) 8a. July 14, 2014. The Commissioners Court heard a report from Mr. Rawley McCoy, Architect, regarding Victoria County Goldman Complex Renovation bid proposals. After receiving and rating bids from several contractors, A & A Constructors, Inc. was found to be the lowest bidder by the project evaluation committee. No action taken. AWARD - PROPOSAL GOLDMAN STREET COMPLEX RENOVATION PROJECT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS VICTORIA (8b-42:33) 8b. July 14, 2014.
