C.O.M.A.R. Fee Change Process 1. AG for Legal Approval 2. Notice to Office of Governor (7 days) 3. AEL Review Committee (15 days) 4. MD Register for publishing and public comment (45 days) 5. File for Final Action 6. MD Register is effective 10 days.

Fee Change Currently: Fingerprinting cost is $10 for State and FBI Card Current CJIS budget deficit Cost Impacts Recent opening of 5 Hazmat facilities Automation project of applicant work Network livescan project Maryland Automated Fingerprint Identification System Replacement Proposed: 1. One Time Fingerprinting fee of $20. 2. A $2 handling fee like our FBI fee for other Federal level work.
