Official Rules 02-11-14 No purchase necessary. This is a promotion open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who, at time of entry, are over the age of 18, have reached the age of majority in their state of residence, and are a third year law student for the academic year 2013 2014 in an ABA accredited law school in the United States and are eligible for employment in the United States ( Entrant ). This promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and the rules of the Entrant s school. The Barbri "Public Interest Fellow Contest ( Contest ) is sponsored by Barbri, Inc. ( Sponsor ) with offices at 9400 N. Central Expressway, Suite 613, Dallas, TX 75231 USA. The Contest begins 9:00 AM Eastern Time on February 11, 2014 & ends 12:00 PM (Noon) Eastern Time on March 9, 2014 (the "Contest Period"). Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor and each of their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and service agencies, and members of the immediate family and individuals living in the same household of such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter. HOW TO ENTER: 1) Create a video that answers the question Why do I want to work for Save the Children?. 2) During the Contest Period, submit your entry by (a) visiting http://barbri.shycast.com (the "Contest Website"); (b) registering for the contest site by clicking Sign up and filling in the form in full; (c) while Signed In, i) clicking on the Enter Contest button; ii) filling in the entry form by submitting the information requested in full; (iii) uploading the video to the Contest Website as instructed; and (iv) reviewing your video and clicking the final Approve My Submission button; and (3) E-mail your resume which includes your law school GPA in.pdf format to barbricontest@shycast.com. E- mail subject line must state: last name, first name: resume (for example: Doe, Jane:

resume). The completed entry form, video, and e-mailed resume constitutes the Entry in the contest and must be received by 12:00 PM (noon) Eastern time on March 9. If you are selected as a semi-finalist, you will be notified on or about March 20, 2014. You will be given a writing assignment, subject to be determined by Sponsor and Save the Children, and required to submit your writing sample by 12:00 PM (noon) March 27, 2014. This writing sample also becomes part of the Entry. The video must be a minimum of 30 seconds and no longer than 2 minutes. The video must begin with the entrant saying My name is <insert name> and this is my entry in the Barbri Public Interest Contest. The video should not contain any visible logos, drawings, cartoons, phrases, trademarks or other third-party content or materials. If an Entry includes any third party materials (including but not limited to, any copyrighted content or any trademark, logo or mark that identifies a brand) or otherwise violates or infringes (or may infringe) any copyright or trademark, logo, mark that identifies a brand or other proprietary right of any person living or deceased (including but not limited to rights of privacy or portrayal in a false light), the Sponsor, at its sole discretion may disqualify the entry. Furthermore, if the owner of such trademark, brand, copyright, logo, etc. insists that his trademark, brand, copyright, logo, etc. be removed from the site, the Entrant's Entry may be removed from the site immediately and the Entrant disqualified from the Contest. No Entry shall contain any content that has been published previously. Entrants may not copy or otherwise plagiarize the Entry material from any source. By entering, Entrant must attest (and check the box where indicated) that he or she has obtained written permission from any person depicted in their Entry, to include their name, likenesses, image or pictures (for a minor, Entrant must have the written permission of the parent or legal guardian) and Entrant acknowledges that he or she may be asked by Sponsor to provide proof of such permission in writing to Sponsor, and agree to provide Sponsor with such proof when and if requested. Failure to provide such proof when requested will be cause for disqualification. The video will be posted on the Contest Website after it has been screened by Sponsor or Sponsor's representative. Posting will not be immediate; there will be a delay between video submission and posting. Any video deemed inappropriate or unsuitable for posting, in Sponsor's sole discretion will be disqualified. Any Entry material or portion thereof that is, in the Sponsor's sole

discretion, obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory, contains any content unsuitable for broadcast, or publishing, or is otherwise objectionable, will not be considered and may disqualify the Entrant. Any video that is not of satisfactory quality (i.e., brightness or focus) to be published will likely be rejected, at Sponsor's sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any Entrant and/or the validity of any Entrant and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an Entry that is not in accordance with the Official Rules or who tampers with, or attempts to tamper with, the Entry, judging or voting process of the Contest. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. All decisions regarding Entrant or Entry eligibility is in the sole discretion of Sponsor, and all decisions of Sponsor are binding and final. By submitting an Entry, Entrant hereby represents and warrants that: (1) the Entry submitted was created by the Entrant, and the Entry has not been submitted in any previous competitions; (2) Entrant meets all the eligibility requirements and has not engaged in any of the disqualifying activity set forth herein; (3) all parts of the Entry, including the video, comply with the submission requirements set forth herein, and (4) Entrant agrees to Sponsor s Terms of Use which can be found at http://www.barbri.com/general/terms.html. All Entries submitted become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by Entrants' online service will apply. No information regarding Entries or judging, other than as set forth in the Official Rules will be disclosed. Each Entrant grants to Sponsor the royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive right to use, publish, and broadcast his/her name, voice, picture, portrait, image, likeness and Entry in all media and types of advertising and promotion without further compensation. Sponsor reserves the right to edit, reproduce, or otherwise make changes, additions or alterations to, or deletions from all or any part of the Entry. Any Entry deemed in violation of the Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will not be accepted and will be deemed ineligible to win any prizes.

2. PRIZES: Three (3) prizes will be awarded to winners as follows: 1. 1 st prize- BARBRI Public Interest Fellow position with Save the Children (estimated value: $50,000) and BARBRI Bar Review course (estimated value between $2,580 and $4,350 depending on the state). 2. 2 nd prize- CEDS certification package (estimated value $1,295) and BARBRI Bar Review course (estimated value between $2,580 and $4,350 depending on the state). (Total ARV between $3,875 and $5,645) 3. 3 rd prize- BARBRI Bar Review course ((estimated value between $2,580 and $4,350 depending on the state). 3. JUDGING: Round 1: Ten (10) Semi-Finalists will be selected by Sponsor s panel of judges from all eligible entries, based on the following Judging Criteria: 1. Creativity (up to 10 points) 2. Passion (up to 10 points) 3. Watchability (Production) (up to 10 points) 4. Message (up to 10 points) Semi-Finalists will be contacted by phone or email on or about March 20, 2014 and will be given a writing assignment that will have to be completed and returned by March 27, 2014. Round 2: Three (3) finalists will be selected from among the 10 semi-finalists. The 10 semi-finalist videos will be posted on the contest website, beginning 9:00 AM Eastern Time on March 21, 2014, through 12:00 PM (Noon) Eastern Time on April 7, 2014 ("Voting Period"), to be viewed by members of the general public who will be asked to vote for their favorite Entry based on the above Judging Criteria. Individuals must be 18 years or older to vote. Individuals may vote only one time during Voting Period. The use of robotic or automatic devices for voting is prohibited and Sponsor reserves the right to nullify all such votes and to disqualify from voting the responsible individual.

A panel of guest judging specialists will then judge the 10 Finalists videos on the following criteria: 1. Creativity (up to 10 points) 2. Passion (up to 10 points) 3. Watchability (Production) (up to 10 points) 4. Message (up to 10 points) 5. Academic score, based on resume (up to 10 points) 6. Writing Sample (up to 10 points) The final scores will be determined as follows:! Online consumer votes (40%)! The panel of guest judging scores (60%) In the event of a tie during the judges' phase or after the Entrants' scores have been tabulated, tied Entries will be re-judged by the judges from the Sponsor s panel of judges based solely on Message. Decisions of judges are final with respect to all matters relating to this Contest. Sponsor reserves the right not to award a Finalist or Winner if the Entries are deemed by Sponsor as not satisfactory. No information regarding scoring or voting will be disclosed by sponsor or their agent. The Entrants with the three highest scores (Potential Finalists) will be contacted by phone and/or email on or about April 8, 2014 and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release (where legal) within five (5) days of notification attempt. In the event of a failure to return the requested executed affidavits and releases within the foregoing time frames, an alternate Potential Finalist will be determined based on the next-highest score. Once each Potential Finalist returns the executed affidavit, they will be determined to be a Finalist and move on to Round 3. Round 3: One (1) First Prize winner will be selected by Save the Children. The 3 Finalists will be interviewed by a Save the Children representative. The interviews will take place at a reasonable time on or between approximately April 17 and April 28, 2014 Finalists must be able to travel to the Save the Children offices with expenses reimbursed or paid by Sponsor. A reasonable start date of the year of employment will be determined during the interview process and may be a factor in determining the winner. Winner will be

determined by Save the Children from among the 3 finalists at their sole discretion based on the video, resume, writing sample or any other information / factors deemed relevant at the sole discretion of Save the Children. Winner will also be subject to any and all reasonable requirements of Save the Children such as providing references or other documents as per their general hiring practices and procedures. If the leading candidate cannot for some reason meet all of the requirements an alternate from among the other finalists will be selected at the sole discretion of Save the Children. After the terms of the 1 st prize are determined and settled, the second and third prize winners will be determined at the sole discretion of Save the Children. 4. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be contacted by phone and/or email to let them know which prize they have won on or about May 5, 2014. 5. GENERAL RULES: By participating in the Contest, each Entrant agrees to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the judges, whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. Entrants agree to sign all necessary releases, consents and authorizations in connection therewith and to sign any additional documentation Sponsor may require in connection with the Contest and/or to transfer the rights granted in the Rules. Unless otherwise prohibited by law, submission of Entries constitutes permission to use the Entrant's name, likeness, biographical information, state/province/country, and Entry for any purpose including but not limited to advertising and publicity purposes, without compensation. No substitution or transfer of prizes by Winner permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of comparable value if any prize becomes unavailable. Taxes, fees, and any other expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of Winners. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY VIOLATE CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY SUCH ENTRANT AND/OR SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, internet connection or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, lost, late, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest which may limit the ability to participate or by any human or any other error which may occur in the processing of the submissions or votes in this Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Contest, in whole or part, if it (or the voting) becomes technically corrupted, or in the event of error, and it may in its sole discretion determine the Finalists and/or Winners from eligible Entries received prior to cancellation and all votes received prior to cancellation. 6. Privacy Notice: THE INFORMATION ABOUT YOU COLLECTED ON THIS WEB SITE IS SUBJECT TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. BY DISCLOSING THE INFORMATION TO US, YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE POLICY. NEITHER SPONSOR, SHYCAST, NOR THEIR AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, SUBSIDIARIES, OR AFFILIATED COMPANIES, OR THEIR ADVERTISING AND CONTEST AGENCIES, SHALL HAVE ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY OR GOODWILL IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONTEST OR ANY USE OF ANY PRIZE. DISPUTES: The state or federal courts in Dallas, TX shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction of any controversies regarding the Contest and the laws of the State of TX, USA shall govern the same, without regard to their choice of law provisions. Each Entrant waives any and all objections to jurisdiction and hereby submits to the venue of those courts within the city and state of Dallas, TX, USA. 9.
