Motion to accept a grant of $300,298.23 from Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) of 9-1-1 Statewide Interconnectivity funding to be used towards the Region 13 Shared CPE Project. This project coordinates the efforts of counties in western Pennsylvania to strengthen the E-911 system. The final report will be completed by June 30, 2017. There is no County match required. (Other participants are Lawrence, Venango, Butler, Westmoreland, Greene, Fayette, Somerset, Cambria, Indiana, Armstrong, Beaver, and Allegheny.) Page 5 of 7

Motion to endorse the application of the 2016 JRI Innovative Policing grant by the Mercer County Juvenile Probation Office in partnership with the Mercer County Criminal Justice Advisory Board (MC CJAB) for a grant in the amount of $37,899.00 through OCJSI (Office of Criminal Justice System Improvements) of the PCCD (Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency). This grant comes from the availability of funds in the state Justice Reinvestment Initiative (JRI) funds to support innovative policing activities. These are one-time funds and all JRI funds must be spent by June 30, 2017. As part of the project, funds will also come from federal Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) under $10K funds. These funds in the amount of $20,282.00 are being made available to law enforcement agencies who did not qualify for a direct federal JAG award from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). This award is contingent upon the availability of funds. Project start date for these funds is April 1, 2017 and the end date is March 31, 2018. The Mercer County Juvenile Probation Office in partnership with the MC CJAB, will work directly with 15 designated county police departments on this portion of the grant. The total amount of awards is $58,181.00. No County matching dollars are required under either funding opportunity. Deadline to apply for the grant is February 28, 2017. Motion to enter into Memorandum of Agreement with Federal Highway Administration, Pennsylvania Historic Preservation Officer and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for the Kelly Road Bridge replacement project. Motion to enter into a Community Service Agreement with the Temple of Praise Church, 170 North Sharpsville Avenue, Sharon, PA 16146 to provide the basis under which the Mercer County Intermediate Punishment Community Service Program and the Temple of Praise Church may carry out mutually agreeable activities which ultimately provides for offenders to perform community service as directed by the Courts. Offenders are to provide uncompensated labor for non-profit, governmental and charitable agencies at no expense to the County. This agreement shall continue for one year beginning February 2, 2017 and may automatically renew for one additional year periods unless either party gives thirty days written notice to terminate this agreement to the other party. Motion to enter into an annually renewable license agreement with Metro Alert 435 Devon Park Dr. Wayne, Pa. 19087 at an annual cost of $2,675.00 for period covering 2-1-16 to 12-31-17 and $2,753.00 covering 2-1-17 to 1-31-18.
