PNW Horse Management and Development Committee (may submit at any time) Oversee all other PNW Horse committees Review submitted changes to PNW publications and make final decisions regarding changes Select committee members for other PNW Horse committees Promote cooperation between the PNW states Chairs of other PNW Horse committees A minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 representatives from each PNW state (prefer equal numbers from each state) This committee will meet once or twice a year as needed at sites determined by the committee. Many issues will be discussed via email or telephone conference calls. Term Limit: Members will serve 3-year terms. Terms will be staggered so that members will rotate on and off the committee each year. Terms start in January. Selection process: Submit the form and recommendation to OSU Extension Office. Selection of committee members will be made by the State Office representatives.

PNW Horse Judges Training Committee Plan and organize the next PNW Horse Judges Training This includes setting format, determining sessions, planning the schedule, and selecting instructors. Participate in the PNW Horse judges training May help in the planning and organizing of specialty clinics Requirements: Must have attended at least one previous Horse Judges Training Must have access to email A maximum of 10 members with at least 1 from each PNW state This committee requires a large time commitment. There are several planning meetings held at various sites. Much work is also done via email. The committee usually begins meeting two years before the event date. Selection process: Submit the form and recommendation to the OSU Extension Office. Selection of committee members will be made by the PNW Horse Management and Development Committee
