Panhellenic Council Meeting Agenda Call to Order @ 4:01PM Panhellenic Creed Roll Call @ 4:02PM Open Period @ 4:03 PM Athletics Partnership: Chapters who choose to make the men s basketball game against Boise State game a sisterhood, will be recognized at halftime. This Saturday @ 2PM, women s basketball will be giving away capes as they celebrate Super Hero Day at the game. Chapters who dress up will be involved in a contest decided at the end of the game. There will be tailgating with Ram Ruckus before the game. Contact Brynne Davis if your chapter is interested in participating: brynne.davis@colostate.edu Lindsay Sell suggests the idea of making this event a social/sisterhood with another chapter or org. If you let Brynne know ahead of time, she can reserve a section of seats for your group. We will discuss the purpose of Panhellenic Council meetings, the importance of the delegate s role, how to appropriately bring info to chapters, Robert s Rules, NPC, some history of PHA, IFC & MGC, and some info about voting processes. Sisterhood Coalition!-this will be starting soon. A safe space where women from PHA chapters can come together to discuss issues or topics that our community is challenged with. Two women are required to attend from each chapter (it is preferred that these women are not delegates or officers already, simply because this is a great way for other women to be involved in the chapter and help bring important issues to light!) Meetings will be held every other Wednesday, from 6:30-8:30pm in Eddy 200. The first meeting will be on February 8th. If possible, I would like to know who the delegates will be before hand! If your chapters know ahead of time, please email me their name and contact info. If not, just be sure that two women are in attendance to represent your chapter on February 8th! :) In the past it s been the same women each time, but it s up to your chapter if you would like to send different women each time. Director of Scholarship, Lauren Howery: scholarship.csupha@gmail.com Scholarship Officers: The first officer workshop is 1/29 at 1-2:30pm in LSC room 306 Remember you must attend 2 (including the first mandatory one on the 29th). The others don't have topics yet, but the dates are 3/2 @6:00pm (this is a Tilt workshop on Mindfully Managing Stress), 3/29 @7:00pm, and 4/20 @6pm (these locations are TBD). Scholarship Officers: I will be reaching out in the next week or so to discuss each chapter's scholarship efforts, successes, and trends as they pertain the the newly published GPA report so please look out for my email! Presidents Forum: Friday, January 27, 3:30PM, LSC 386-Please remind your president. The best place to go to get information about events is on the FSL homepage. FSL Ambassadors-program training members to represent FSL at new student events and events in the community. These applications are coming out soon, it s a great chance to contribute or learn more about FSL and become involved. NPC Chapters, Spring total is 185, recruitment advisors and officers were notified. Every Spring there should be four chapters participating in COB.
