SECTIONAL DRAWING (CONT.) Thermal barrier : A double thermal barrier behind the centrifugal impeller enables a significant reduction in the temperature of the pump drive and mechanical-seal chamber. This enables use of a seal without an external cooling system. Calorific loss is also efficiently reduced. The volume of liquid in the mechanical-seal chamber enables the pump to self-cool up to its maximum temperature ( or C depending on the model). Bearings Journal bearing near the impeller limits vibrations. Grease-lubricated ball bearing on the drive end designed specifically to resist high temperatures. Maximum authorised power: Shaft Amply dimensioned with shaft sleeve for longer mechanical-seal service life. Impeller High-efficiency GG cast-iron closed radial impeller with back seal and balance holes. Adapted (cropped) on request to comply with the Q/H required for the application.
