CALL TO ORDER DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL June 16, 2015 - DRAFT The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Present: Absent: Mike Doyle, Mayor Karen Stepper, Vice Mayor Newell Arnerich, Councilmember Renee Morgan, Councilmember Robert Storer, Councilmember None 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Vice Mayor Stepper. 3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes to the order of the agenda. Town Manager Joe Calabrigo stated that revisions were made to agenda item 6.1, Resolution No. 50-2015, to be consistent with the staff report. 4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN Monica Younghein, Danville, expressed concern regarding a home in her neighborhood that is being rented periodically through Airbnb.com, bringing more traffic and strangers into the neighborhood. Craig Gjerman, Danville, expressed concern regarding neighbors that are adding on to their home and renting the rooms through Airbnb.com, creating a motel situation. Robyn Moreno, Danville, expressed concern regarding a home in her neighborhood that is renting rooms through Airbnb.com and is concerned regarding the potential for increased crime in the neighborhood.
Town Council requested that the topic be discussed at a study session. 5. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS 5.1 Presentation of a proclamation to Lacey Todd, Alzheimer's Association Constituent Events Manager, proclaiming June as National Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month 6. PUBLIC HEARINGS 7.1 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 46-2015, approving the 2015/16 Operating Budget and setting the 2015/16 Appropriation Limit; Resolution No. 47-2015, approving the 2015/16 through 2019/20 Capital Improvement Program and appropriating funds for 2015/16 capital projects; Resolution No. 48-2015, approving the 2015/16 Operating Budget for the Successor Agency to the former Community Development Agency of the Town of Danville; and, Resolution No. 49-2015, approving the 2015/16 Master Fee Schedule for User and Cost Recovery Fees Town Manager Joe Calabrigo and Development Services Director/City Engineer Steve Lake presented the staff report and noted that the Town Council extensively reviewed the draft 2015/16 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program during four public study sessions.
