KABP Survey Findings: Factors Demotivating Voters Name not on Electoral Role Didn't have ID proof I wasn't in my constituency Not being registered in electoral rolls was cited as top most reason for respondents who didn t vote. Didn't get voter slip Electoral Malpractices No interest No faith in system Afraid to Vote Factors demotivating voters (%) 0 10 20 30 40 Lack of documents (ID proof or Voter slip) and absence from constituency constitute 50% of responses. Electoral malpractices were cited in top 5 reasons which demotivate the voters.
