Applications are invited from Male candidates of Indian Nationality by 41 Vehicle Company PIN 909041, C/o 99 APO for the following posts of Group C in pay scale Rs 19,900/- in level-2 (19,900-63,200) plus other allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees. The above posts are subject to ALL INDIA SERVICE LIABILITY INCLUDING FIELD SERVICE. 3. Age Limit. 18 to 25 Years. 4. Calculation of Age. The crucial date for determining the age shall be the closing date for receipt of application. 5. Mandatory Qualification and Physical Standards. (a) Education Qualification. - Matriculation Pass. Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties. Physical Measurement (Qualifying). (i) Height without shoes - 165cms. (ii) Chest (unexpanded) - 81.5 cms. (iii) Chest (on expansion) - 85 cms. (iv) Weight - 50 kgs (minimum). Must PASS the following Endurance Tests (i) Running Test of 1.6 Km in 6 mins (if desired by conducting auth). (ii) Carrying a man (Fireman lift) of 63.5 Kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds. (iii) (iv) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump). Climbing 03 meters vertical rope using hands and feet. Note. Only candidates who qualify physical measurement & pass endurance test will undergo written examination. Contd.P/2

2 6. Candidates will forward application properly sealed in an envelope to the address mentioned against the post of Fireman. Application can be forwarded either through Ordinary Post/Registered/Speed Post. Applications will not be accepted by hand. Candidates are requested to super scribe the words APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF FIREMAN and Category applied for GENERAL on the top of envelope while sending the application form. 7. Last date for receipt of application is 21 days from the first day of publication of the advertisement in the Employment Newspaper. The crucial date of determining age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of application. 8. Photocopy of the following documents/certificate duly self attested to be attached alongwith the application:- (a) Two passport size photographs duly self attested, one on right corner of application and one on Acknowledgement Card. Acknowledgement Card Ser No 1 to 4 to be filled by the applicant. Self Attested copies of following certificate will also be submitted with application:- (i) (ii) (iii) Educational Qualification Certificate. Date of Birth Certificate. Photocopy of Aadhar Card. Self addressed envelope affixing postal stamps of Rs 25/-. Note :- Central Government Civilian Employees must furnish No Objection Certificate from their employer/office at the time of skill test else their candidature will be cancelled. 9. Application will be treated as cancelled under the following conditions:- (a) False documents/information or incomplete information in the application form or illegible form. Any other person appearing in the test in place of the applicant. etc. Application form incompletely filled including photograph, attested documents Two or more application filled for the same post by an applicant. (e) Any other influence from outside or use of wrong procedure for acceptance of the application. (f) Candidate must ensure that no column is left blank, wrongly filled application/ not filled correctly is liable to be rejected and the onus of such rejection would be on the candidates. (g) Person, who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living or who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with other person. 10. It is made clear that merely fulfilling the basic essential qualification requirements does not automatically entitle a person to be called for test. The selection will be made strictly on merit basis. The decision of appointing authority regarding selection/rejection will be final. It is also made clear that the number of posts/vacancies is tentative and recruitment process can be cancelled/suspended/terminated by the Appointing Authority at any stage due to administrative reasons. 3 11. The question papers of written test (objective test) will be bilingual i.e English & Hindi as under. Written test may include negative marking and benchmark for passing will be as per the decision of selection Board of Officers. Candidates will make their own arrangement for lodging/boarding during test/ interview. 14. Probation Period. The selected candidate will be on probation for two years. The appointment of the selected candidate will be made on the satisfactory report from the concerned civil authority on verification of character and antecedent/education certificates with date of birth/caste certificate and medical fitness examination. 15. Location of Test. Test will be held at 41 Vehicle Company, C/o 99 APO at Narangi Military Station. Nearest Railway Station is Guwahati, Assam. 16. Date and Time. Dates for Physical tests/written test will be intimated separately to the eligible candidates through Admit Card. 17. Conduct of Test/Checking. After reporting, candidates not meeting any of the laid down Mandatory Qualification, Physical Standards and Endurance tests will be rejected. 18. Rejection. The following acts/omissions would render a candidate/application disqualified/rejected:- (a) Not Meeting/Qualifying/Passing the laid down Mandatory Qualifications Standards/Tests. Furnishing of false, inaccurate or tampered information. Obtaining support for his candidature through unfair means. (e) Impersonation by any person. Submitting fabricated documents. (f) Making statements which are incorrect or false or suppressing material information. (g) Resorting to any other irregular or improper means in connection with his candidature for the selection. (h) (j) Improper filling and incomplete application. Any other reason as observed by the board of Officers. Contd. P/4

There will be ratio of marks for written test and physical/practical Test. An initial screening test may be conducted depending upon the total number of applicants. 20. Disclaimer. The recruitment process can be cancelled/suspended/terminated by the Officer Commanding, 41 Vehicle Company at any stage and his decision on this regard will be final and no appeal will be entertained. 21. Warning. All candidates are warned to be careful from the TOUTS/AGENTS and are requested to report to the Officer Commanding, 41 Vehicle Company, against any malpractice seen/observed by them. 22. Own Risk/Injury. Candidates will appear for physical test/endurance test at their own risk. In case of any injury/accident sustained by the candidates during test, conducting authorities will not be responsible to pay any compensation. 23. The exact place and the date will be intimated to the candidates whose application and particulars are found correct through Acknowledgement Card. Applicants should report at 0600 hrs on the date of test. No separate letter except Acknowledgement Card will be issued. Individuals should be in possession of Acknowledgment Card issued by 41 Vehicle Company. Written examination will be of Matriculation level. 24. Candidates not in receipt of call letter should presume that their application were incomplete/ not meeting the qualitative requirements or not found eligible. No correspondence in this regards will be entertained. 41 Vehicle Company will not be held responsible for any postal delay. 25. Only candidates in possession of Acknowledgment Card shall be permitted to appear in the test. 26. Original Documents. Candidates are required to bring original documents/ certificates at the time of test, failing which they shall not be permitted to appear in the test. Candidates are also required to bring AADHAR and PAN card for checking against impersonation at the time of examination. 27. Dispute. Any dispute in the recruitment will be settled within jurisdiction of Guwahati High Court. 28.
