Received News from Judy Johnson(Director of Early childhood)that MSU Moorhead received the federal child care grant that we applied for. The grant is for 4 years and will put approximately $36,000 back into the child care fund. 2. Attended a meeting with Kathy Scott for the Student conduct committee. What's Happening with MSUSA 1. Whereas it is important for student leaders to be present at this event Be it resolved a bylaw be adopted stating "Senators are required to attend lobby day. If they do not, they will be assessed an absence (excused or unexcused) to be decided by the president of the student senate Motion Passes Motion #26-03 Leg/Internal Whereas John Neumaier Apartment Complex as of now does not belong to any geographical district Be it resolved the student senate create a geographical district for the John Neumaier Apartment Complex. Motion Passes Unanimously. Motion #27-03 Leg/Internal Whereas Leg/Internal needs money for a sign for election day promotion Be it resolved the student senate allocate $70 for election promotion pending availability of funds.
