Global Compact Network Canada We are the Canadian Chapter of the United Nations Global Compact Launched in June 2013, as the Canadian network of the UN Global Compact (UNGC), the Global Compact Network Canada (GCNC) is dedicated to assisting over 100 Canadian organizations with the advancement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 10 Principles of the UNGC.

About Ryan Ward Ryan Ward is Canada's Regional Senior Trade Commissioner for Eastern Africa, based in Kenya, and also covering Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Eritrea, Djibouti, and Burundi. He has previously been posted in Libya and Indonesia. Ryan graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada in 2004, joining the Foreign Service in 2006.

About Paul Lalonde Paul Lalonde is a partner at Dentons Canada LLP. He focuses on anticorruption, government contracting, international trade law and international arbitration. Mr. Lalonde has the distinction of being one of the few practitioners listed as a leader in international trade law in Lexpert, Chambers Global, the Legal Post and the Guide to the World's Leading Lawyers (Legal Media Group / Euromoney Institutional Investor), as well as in Procurement law in The Best Lawyers in Canada (Woodward/White) and in Chambers Global and Who s Who Legal. Mr. Lalonde is a founding member of the Canadian Bar Association Joint Committee on Anti corruption and Chair and President of Transparency International Canada. He has been a guest professor in international trade law at the University of Ottawa, has lectured at Osgoode Hall Law School and Queen s University and is a frequent speaker at conferences in his areas of expertise.
