We recommend Single Entry because 99% of the time, ED visa is given a Single Entry. If you need to leave Thailand during your internship, you can get an extra entry before leaving at your local immigration office. The following link has all the details: http://thailatinamerica.net/mexico/images/nm_ed.pdf b) Visa Eligibility for ED visa: To apply for a visa, a foreigner must: Possess a valid passport or travel document that is recognized by the Royal Thai Government. The maximum visa length is for 12 months. The validity of a visa is granted with discretion by the Royal Thai Embassy or Royal Thai Consulate-General and is displayed on the visa sticker. d) Processing time You can apply from up to 3 months before the intended arriving date to Thailand. It takes 2-4 business days to have a visa resolution. For the applications received via mail (DHL) the time counts from the time the package is received.
