Dr Nupur Tiwari is Assistant Professor at the Centre for federal Studies, Jamia Hamdard,New Delhi. Earlier, She worked as Senior Consultant in Union Ministry of Panchayati Raj attached to Shri Mani Shankar Aiyar, former Union Minister of Panchayati Raj and DoNER, Government of India Prior to that she worked as Fellow in Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies,Rajiv Gandhi Foundation,New Delhi.She also served as Assistant Professor in CRS, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration,Mussoorie. She completed her PhD in 2004 on A review of District Administration in Fifty years of Independence.:A Comparative Case Study of Patna District in Bihar and KarimNagar in Andhra Pradesh.She holds UGC NET and JRF in Political Science and Public Administration.She started her teaching career as permanent faculty from Patna University in 2003.
