O.S.M.A PRESIDENT MICHAEL UHLENHAKE Welcome to the 2017 OSMA Mid-Winter Conference! The next few days will be spent united in fellowship, with our Moose Brothers and Sisters from all over Ohio. I also want to welcome back our Official Visitor, John Capes, from the great State of Florida. We are looking forward to John s updates on the Moosehaven Centennial Project. I hope that each one of us comes away from this conference with a wealth of knowledge, that will help our fraternity grow and operate more efficiently. Membership is down all across the state, so it is vital to share what we learn with others back home. Restoring membership takes working together, along with a strong commitment towards implementing new programs. This is no easy task, but our dedicated members here in Ohio have a way of turning goals into reality! We have a host of activities planned, including the 5/25 Club Party. This is a fun way to say thank you, and to recognize those who have worked hard signing up new members. Once again, welcome to Cleveland. Enjoy the conference and have a safe journey home! Fraternally, Mike Mike Uhlenhake OSMA President MOOSE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION LIAISON GARY MUTER We welcome you to the 2017 Ohio State Moose Association Mid-Year Conference. It is great to represent the Ohio State Moose Association as your Association Liaison and Western Ohio Territory Manager. We would like to welcome our friends John Capes, Executive Director, Moosehaven and Ohio s very own Karol Smith, Past Grand Regent to our 2017 Mid-Year Conference as our Official Visitors. We look forward to the words of wisdom these great leaders will share with us. During this conference, we will again embark to focus on more training sessions and breakout sessions, a joint opening session and new videos from the Moose International and a Community Service Project. We will have a free evening of Hospitality on Thursday evening, the opportunity to recognize our 5/25 Club Members with a party featuring a Country theme on Friday evening and a Friendliest District in the Association event on Saturday evening. Please use this weekend to further your knowledge of the Moose by attending the many training sessions being offered and enjoy the fellowship with your Moose brothers and sisters. Fraternally, Gary 4 5 Page 3 of 17 Downloaded from www.ohiomoose.com Posted: 1/7/2017
