New Jersey NENA 2014 Annual Conference Date: TO: FROM: REF: Exhibitors, Companies and Friends The NJ-NENA Conference Committee 2014 NJ-NENA Annual Conference The Conference Committee of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association (NJ-NENA) is pleased to extend an invitation to you and your firm to attend and exhibit at our 2014 Annual Conference to be held at the in Atlantic City, NJ. The dates for the conference will be Wednesday, April 23 and Thursday, April 24, 2014. Exhibitor space is 10 x 10. Each exhibit booth will include: 8' high back drape 42" high side drape One (1) 6 draped table Two (2) side chairs One (1) wastebasket One (1) 7" x 44" One-line Identification Sign with Your Show Logo. Prior to the conference all exhibitors will receive an Exhibitor Kit from AEX Convention Services outlining show colors, move-in and move-out schedules. The Exhibitor Kit includes Internet service order forms, electrical order forms, material handling forms, etc. No services will be provided by NJ-NENA other than what is listed above for each booth. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to order any other needed or additional services from the AEX Exhibitor Kit. Levels of Exhibitor: RETURNING EXHIBITORS GET $100 OFF! Gold Exhibitor ($2,750.00 $2,650.00) - Shows you are a leader in the 9-1-1 industry. Benefits of this level include a time slot for your company representative to address the attendees during the conference. Your company name and/or logo will be prominently displayed on banners, programs, and prominently on the NJ-NENA website. A link to your company website from the NJ-NENA website will be established. This level also gives you the option of a second adjacent booth at no extra charge and conference admission for 4 representatives. Silver Exhibitor: ($1,250.00 $1,150.00) Shows your strong commitment to the 9-1-1 industry. Benefits of this level include your company name and/or logo displayed on banners, programs and prominently on the NJ-NENA website. A link to your company website from the NJ-NENA website will be established. This level also gives you the option of a second adjacent booth at a discounted rate of $600.00 and conference admission for 3 representatives. Exhibitor: ($750.00 $650.00) At this level your company name will be displayed on the programs and the NJ-NENA website. A link to your company website from the NJ-NENA website will be established. There is no option available for a double booth at this level. This level gives you conference admission for 2 representatives. Additional Representatives: If you wish to have extra representatives (other than those allotted with the level of exhibition that you choose) the fee is $125.00 per representative for both days. Each exhibitor is allowed no more than 2 additional representatives for their booth at the conference. EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION CAN ALSO BE DONE ONLINE THROUGH THE LINK AT www.njnena.org. EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION FORM: Exhibitor registrations must be mailed to: NJ-NENA, 2014 Exhibitors ATTN: Judy Hawkins Treasurer PMB 247, 203 Main Street Flemington, NJ 08822 Exhibitor registration can be completed online at www.njnena.org. Credit cards accepted through online registration only. 2. EXHIBIT FEE: All Exhibitor and registration fees must be paid in U.S. funds. In the event of cancellation of space by an Exhibitor prior to March 31, 2014, the first $100.00 paid for each booth is not refundable. No refund will be made if the contract for space is canceled by the Exhibitor after March 31, 2014. 3. BOOTH AREA / SERVICES: Exhibitor space is 10 x 10. SPACE ASSIGMENT: Exhibit space is assigned on execution of the Exhibitors Registration form and Full Payment of the exhibit fee. 5. EXHIBITOR SETUP: Exhibitor setup time will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 10:00 am 5:00 pm. All setup must be completed by 10:30 am on April 23, 2014. For liability reasons and the general professional appearance of exhibits, exhibitors will not be allowed to dismantle booths prior to the close of exhibit hours on April 24, 2014. 6. REGISTRATION OF EXHIBIT STAFF: All members of the exhibit staff shall be registered prior to the conference, by the Exhibitor, on the form provided by NJ-NENA. Exhibitor levels include a specific number of representative registrations (Gold - 4 representatives, Silver - 3 representatives and, Exhibitor - 2 representatives). Any additional exhibitor registrants over the allotted amount (no more than 2 extra representatives) must pay an additional registration fee of $125.00 per

representative. Any exhibitor found to have more than their registered allotment of exhibitors on the exhibit floor at any time will be invoiced for the additional personnel. All exhibitor registrations will be picked up at the vendor registration booth inside the exhibit hall entrance. BADGES FOR THE EXHIBIT STAFF ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE, AND SHALL NOT BE ALTERED. 7. PROTECTION OF PROPERTY: Security will be provided but in no way does this assume any liability of NJ-NENA, AEX Convention Services or the. Each Exhibitor must make provisions for the safe keeping of goods before the opening, during, and after the closing of the conference. Exhibitor must insure his goods at his own expense. 8. LIABILITY: Exhibitor does hereby indemnify NJ-NENA, AEX Convention Services and the, and agrees to hold them harmless, of and from any claim, damage, loss, liability, cost or expense, which NJ-NENA, AEX Convention Services and may suffer or incur by reason of the failure of the Exhibitor (including any agents and/or employees of the Exhibitor) to perform, observe and comply with any of the terms of this Contract, and Exhibitor does further indemnify NJ-NENA, AEX Convention Services and the, and agrees to hold them harmless, of and from any claim, damage, loss, liability, cost or expense imposed for violation of any law or ordinance, or for any incidents arising by reason of occupancy of the exhibit premises. 9. VIOLATION OF RULES AND REGULATIONS: An Exhibitor who violates any of these rules and regulations is subject to a forfeiture of space priority for the future conferences. Repeated violations may result in loss of the right to exhibit or attend NJ-NENA conferences.

CALL FOR PAPERS New Jersey NENA invites you to share your knowledge and expertise with our membership in a Professional Development session at our Annual Conference on at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ. The call for papers deadline is March 1, 2014. Professional Development sessions educate attendees on topics regarding current and critical issues in the public-safety communications industry. Presentations should be focused on one of the following groups of personnel or topics: Front-line Operations Personnel First Line Supervision/Training Personnel 9-1-1 Administrative and Technical Issues Radio, Telephone, Computer Systems Technology Emerging Telephony and Radio Technologies Affecting Public-Safety Communications Legislative/Regulatory Issues General Interest topics for 9-1-1 professionals Sessions will be limited to 45 minutes (with a minimum of 30 minutes) and may be repeated on both days if scheduling allows. Presentations must be informational and not specific to a vendor s product or service. Presenters will be provided a full conference pass as well as breakfast and lunch each day.
