Participants will bring the perspectives from China on the above specific issues into the context of the Doha Round of WTO negotiations. Participants will be involved in identifying the overall interest of China in trade, biodiversity conservation and sustainable development, and China s strategies and positions on Para. 31 and 32, and on other issues discussed in the WTO Committee on Trade and Environment related to biodiversity. They will also identify China s overall policy options to promote sustainable trade and biodiversity conservation.
