Organizational Items: 1.1 Call to Order C. Sultzbaugh called the meeting to order at 11:03 a.m. 1.2. Adoption of the Agenda Vazquez moved that the Student Senate add in 6.1.1 to discuss and possibly take action upon switching M. Perez with Aaron Burgess as delegate for GA Gutierrez seconded Burgess moved that the Student Senate strike out 6.1.5 (Roberts Rules) Sneed seconded Sneed moved that the Student Senate approve the amended agenda Fadel sconded

1.4. Approval of the Minutes Sneed moved that the Student Senate approve the minutes Panaguiton seconded 2. Public Comment: 3. Guest Speaker (10 minutes): AGS (Fund Request) Dina, President of AGS, asks the student senate would like to request funding for their conference on November 15 and they would need the approval of funds by November 10 th ; they want to send at least ten people and request no less than $200 for the activities and workshops that would be provided. Focus on Leadership and Leadership skills. It is a good way to network and since they did not go last year they need to go this year. 4. Communication from the floor Esmeralda will be making tamales and asks if anyone wants to have one Jr. went to Halloween Horror nights and was not scared but laughed all through it Happy Halloween 5. Reports: 5.1. Officer Reports 5.1.1 President (Sultzbaugh)- Met with Dr. Marshall on Monday. Attended Crafton Council meeting, discussed the following: o Athletics proposal for Crafton o Baccalaureate proposal o Current and upcoming grants o Hiring prioritization o Equity plan o PLA- will be on board agenda. It is important for the students voice to be heard during public comment. Attended the Educational Master Plan committee meeting. Helped with the Make a Difference Day- renovation for the CHC Food Pantry- it was a success and thank you to Esmeralda, Alexis, Jr, Franklin, and Vaneza for also helping. 5.1.2 Executive Vice President (Vazquez)- 5.1.3 Director of External Affairs (M. Perez)- 5.1.4 Director of Academic Affairs (Murguia)- 5.1.5 Director of Campus Activities (El Awar)- 5.1.6 Treasurer (Burgess)- Made recruitment flyers for Senate. Researched food trucks for club rush. Found Roberts Rules Made Simple for free. Attended Club Rush and help film and transport equipment in a cart. Met with Annaly Medrano and discuss the General Assembly resolutions. 5.1.7 Secretary (Grau)- Helped with setting up at the Club Rush, visited and talked with each

of the clubs that were present that day, and was the MC for the day. Thanked everyone for showing and those who helped with the many activities. 5.1.8 Student Trustee (Panaguiton)- 5.1.9 Social Events (vacant) 5.1.10 Social Events (Guerra)- 5.1.11 Inter-Club Council (Gutierrez)- 5.1.12 Inter-Club Council (Downer)- 5.1.13 Activism (Vacant) 5.1.14 Editor in Chief (Sneed)- 5.1.15 Equity and Diversity (Omana)- 5.1.16 Publicity (Abbasi)- 5.1.17 At Large Officer (Fadel)- At Large Officer (V. Perez)- 5.1.18 At Large Officer (Pandoy)- Went to the renovation of the food drive room on Saturday, and attended SSEEMM meeting. 5.1.19 At Large Officer (Vacant) 5.1.20 Member (Anderson) 5.2 Adviser Report (Paddock) Club Rush went well, everyone complicated on how well it went. Passed out business cards for those who requested to have the, and name tags for the Senate Members. Bingo winners from Club Rush An Email for GA will be sent out 5.3 Executive Council 5.4. Inter Club Council Went over the final decisions of club rush and the agenda was helpful. Next Tuesday they will discuss how it went and how to improve upon it. 5.5 Events Council 5.6 Committee Reports 5.6.1 Governing Docs Committee Not going to meet next week; may reschedule what time to meet 5.6.2 Fundraising Committee Franklin Pandoy-Video Game competition Jade Murguia- See s Candy

6.1.3 Hiring Prioritization Paddock 15 mins The Student Senate will discuss and possibly take action upon choosing which faculty and staff vacancies should be filled first. Item was discussed, No action was taken 6.1.4 Master Ed Plan Goals Vazquez 10 mins The Student Senate will discuss the nine Master Educational Plan goals for Crafton Hills College in order to provide feedback to the Master Education Plan Committee. Item discussed Sneed moved that the Student Senate extend time by 7 minutes El Awar seconded V. Perez moved that the Student Senate extend time by 2 minutes Sneed seconded Vazquez moved that the Student Senate postpone 6.1.5 and 6.1.6 until the following week Panaguiton seconded 6.1.5 Middle College Panaguiton 15 mins The student senate will discuss the Middle College being implemented in San Bernardino Valley College. 6.1.6 Club Rush Vazquez 10 mins The Student Senate will discuss the results of Fall Club Rush. 7.
