DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS ELECTION OF COUNCIL MEMBERS Nomination forms for Member Nations wishing to be elected to the Council are appended to document C 2015/11. All forms should be completed and signed by the delegate of the country standing for election to the Council and by two nominating delegations, which need not necessarily be from the same region as the candidate. The forms should be submitted to Room A139, Office of the Secretary-General of the Conference, by 12.00 hours today, 8 June 2015 at the latest In accordance with Rule XXII.10(g) of the GRO... Candidates who are unsuccessful in the election to fill the vacancy or vacancies occurring in the first calendar year shall be included among the candidates for election to the vacancy or vacancies occurring in the second calendar year, except where they voluntarily withdraw. AUDIENCE WITH HIS HOLINESS POPE FRANCIS On the occasion of the 39th Session of the Conference, His Holiness Pope Francis will receive in Audience all Delegates participating in the Conference. The Audience will take place in the Sala Clementina on Thursday 11 June 2015 at 12.00 hours. Doors to the hall will be closed at 11.30 hours. Entrance to the Sala Clementina will take place through the Portone di Bronzo, on the right-hand side of Piazza San Pietro, upon presentation of a special access card and screening through a metal detector by the Italian Police authorities. The cards will be distributed upon request at a desk marked Papal Audience in the Belgian Lounge (main entrance to the Plenary Hall), from Monday, 8 June to Wednesday, 10 June 2015, from 09.30 to 12.30 hours. A bus service will be provided to and from the Vatican. Buses will leave from FAO (Building A) at 10.00 hours and will return at 13.00 hours approximately. DOCUMENTS Conference documents are printed in very limited quantities to reduce their impact on the environment, thereby contributing to climate neutrality. Meeting participants are kindly requested to bring their documents to meetings to avoid asking for additional copies.
