What data is available? Illinois State Board of Elections Voter File Currently only available to political committees US Census Data (2015 Population Estimate) Previous data compilations primarily used exit polls Illinois Voter Project contains more exact data

Active vs. Eligible Voters This map shows the percentage of active versus eligible voters across Illinois An active voter is someone who has voted within the past four years.* An eligible voter is defined as any Illinois resident aged 18 and over. Illinois Population: 12.8 Million Active Voters: 7.8 Million Eligible Voters: 10.2 Million *If a registered voter does not vote in two concurrent election cycles, the State Board of Elections initiates a process to verify or remove the record.
