I abstain. (VOTE: 5, AYE; 0, NAY; 1, ABSTAINED.) Motion carried. Motion for payment of the bills. So moved, Mr. Mayor. Moved by Reider. Second? Second by Jones. Comments? Motion carried. I have no Mayor's report this evening. Is there a Clerk's report? No report, Mayor. Solicitor's report? ATTY. ABRUZZINO: No report, Mr. Mayor. Treasurer's report? MR. EBLING: No report. Board of Trustees of Public Affairs report? MR. DIETZ: We're meeting on the 27th of this month, 4:00. Thank you. Village Engineer's report? MR. KOGELNIK: Real quickly, Mayor. I put forth several work authorizations for the Council's approval. Then, also, the only other project that we're working on, aside from a couple land develop plan reviews, is the Highland Avenue sanitary sewer project. We have met with the Mayor and the county engineers, and there probably is going to be an alignment change in the proposed sanitary sewer. And that change is probably going to help avert some potential risk. It's very likely it's going to reduce the cost of the project. So, we will be putting forth a status report that illustrates and documents what we're proposing to change. Is there any questions? Questions for Chris? Thank you. MR. KOGELNIK: You're welcome. 2

CHIEF MILHOAN: CHIEF MILHOAN: CHIEF EASTHAM: MS. BORDNER: MR. GRIMM: MRS. GIBSON: Special reports. Police Chief Milhoan? The only thing I have, Mr. Mayor, is I sent out a message through Code Red this afternoon in reference to a number of our residents had their cars opened and ransacked down on Highland Avenue. North Jackson had the same issue. So, we felt it would be best to notify all of our residents to encourage them to lock their vehicles. All the cars they did go through were cars that were unlocked. They didn't actually break in any vehicles. So we just felt it would be best to send a message out and encourage the residents to lock them. Nobody left their keys in it yet, huh? Not that we're aware of. Question for Brent? Fire Chief Eastham? No report. Questions for Travis? Planning and Zoning Administrator and Director of Economic Development, Kellie? No report, Mr. Mayor. Questions for Kellie? Parks, Grounds, Buildings, Street Superintendent, Mr. Grimm? No report tonight. Questions for Dale? Recreation, Marty? No report. Questions for Marty? Do we have any correspondence this evening? No correspondence, Mayor. Public remarks. If you'd like to make a public remark, after I acknowledge you, please come to the microphone and give your name and address so we can get it recorded in the minutes correctly. (NO RESPONSE.) Hearing none, are there any Council remarks? Hearing none, committee reports. Finance, Yes, Mr. Mayor. I'd just like to have support for these first two Ordinances tonight to be passed emergency. Any questions for Ron? Parks, Buildings, Grounds, General Improvements, Streets and Sidewalks, We'll be setting up a meeting probably early next week. Mr. Grimm has some items that he needs us to approve, so we'll be setting that up. Questions for Karen? Public Safety and Police, No report this evening, Mr. Mayor. 3

Questions for Don? Public Safety, Fire and EMS, No report tonight, Mr. Mayor. Questions for Howard? Public Utilities, No report tonight this evening, Mr. Mayor, just piggyback on what Chris said in the engineer's report. Any questions for Bob? Recreation and Planning, I'd just like support for the Resolution we have tonight. We'll be having a meeting this Thursday at 2:00. Questions for Lamar? Bill, first piece of legislation.
