o As student leaders we need to communicate with each other please take important information and dates to tribunals UFB o AAA and Asian American Night is hosting an info night and there will be free Indian night o Are hosting elections in early March o Are having retreat this weekend on campus RHA o Are planning events o Looking at the 20 th or 21 st for relaxation night SSB o Will be handing out safety items at the football game this weekend and at Ono s tailgate TRIBUNAL REPORTS Allied Health o Having meeting tomorrow o Will have meetings every other week o Volunteering at the Freestore Foodbank next Saturday DAAP o At yesterday s meeting they confirmed they are selling t-shirts for $9 Can buy them at the DAAP café or can contact Megan o Confirmed plans on going to the Festival of Lights at the zoo Nursing o Just kicked off winterize yourself campaign for homeless people o According to US News there is a five percent increase of heart attacks when spring forward happens due to sleep deprivation o There are more than 1,000 chemicals in a cup of coffee and 26 cause cancer o The pop-tab contest is for the whole year CECH o Are doing community service at the Freestore Foodbank o Going to the Festival of Lights December 2 nd Engineering o General body meeting yesterday o This weekend are having rockfest to go rock climbing o Have decided on the Under the Sea EWeek theme o Have not heard anything else about the learning communities A&S o Have McMicken week-will be collecting money for the Freestore Foodbank o Monday November 11 th will be the kick-off event and will be passing out hot chocolate o Thursday will be the relaxation station with six mousses o Will be having a dodge ball team on Friday Encourages Tribunals to apply o Have Elected Newest Senator

COB o Starting new insurance and risk management center COMMENTS FROM THE GALLERY Dr. Oz o Remember to Register o CampusLink does have focus groups that will be rolling out soon Want feedback to figure how to make it a better system to use Having 6 presentations on systems OLD BUSINESS Student Senate Enactment Bill S.14-E-004 o Senator Kellam Moves to call to question o Bill Passes 26-0-0 NEW BUSINESS Student Senate Appropriation Bill S.14-A-017 o Senator Pfriem Bill over bringing portable chalkboard to campus Would be used to help promote Bearcat Spirit Want to use it to connect with students to receive feedback Would not be in just one place, would be moved around weekly Every month would pose new questions for students to answer Prices are more of estimates and will not spend over $150 o Senator Shah Thinks it s a good idea Had a question on and what way is it with the slate up campaign Answer: Has nothing to do with it ours would have SG logo o Senator Kellam Who would be responsible for the board Answer: Senator Pfriem, President Blizzard would look after it Wants to reiterate that a certain position is tasked to the board to ensure that it is being actively used o Senator Saunders Who is building the board Answer: Hoping to have the help of an engineer Would not have to be approved Thinks it is a great idea o Senator Gilbert How big is the board 4by8 ft. double sided Want to ensure the responses are monitored o President Blizzard Want to be inclusive with the board but is out there to build a sense of the community and let whatever happens to the board happen o Senator Gilbert Thinks that it is a great idea o Senator Gearhart Thinks it is a really great idea and will build a good sense of community Thinks it is great that it is creative and anonymous

Suggest having another locking cable to ensure that it is not stolen o Senator Gogineni What was the board in the library o Senator McGraw They have already used this board for the same type of idea Is it more economically reasonable to but one rather build one o Senator Coleman It is much better to use building since it is very expensive o Senator Sykes Wanted to ensure that the UC surplus store was checked. o Senator Griggs Campus life was looking into similar idea and is glad that this is already underway Would want to see this for outreach week Does not think that the cost is unreasonable o Senator Pichichero Would this be going to medical campus Answer: Yes it can be o Chief Beer Logistically what is the idea for moving the board Answer: The board will be on wheels Really likes the idea and thinks that it will go with the Be Smart. Be Safe. Campaign o Senator Coleman Thanks for the positive discussion and motions to close Moves to call to question o Bill Passes 26-0-0 Student Senate Appropriation Bill S.14-E-018 Senator Coleman o The taste is two weeks from today o Are hoping to beat last year s attendance o Will be similar to last year where there will be have 100 chairs and tables o Have a lot of student groups signed up o Have more performances than last year o Asking for $1,993 want to reimburse the student groups for food o Last year were frequently asked where the water was o Very Excited about this Senator Shah o Thinks that it is a good idea and thought the event last time was very engaging o $2,000 is a sizable amount of money but does think this is worthy Senator Smith o Loves this event o Wants to know if there are any flyers Chief Beer o Thinks that it is a phenomenal event and while this is on a Wednesday but is at 4 PM and we can all go before Senate

Senator Gogineni o The international students really are most proud of putting this event on President Blizzard o Loves the event o Want to ensure that the student groups do purchase goods without tax Senator Gearhart o Thinks this is great and thinks that it is fine and it reaches a large amount of constituents o Moves to Close Senator Coleman o Calls to Question Bill Passes 26-0-0 ANNOUNCEMENTS Pres. Blizzard o November is known as No-Shave November is trying to raise awareness of prostate cancer Chief Beer o Next week is international education week o There is a lot of different stuff going on You can get your passport next week Photo for passport is free o SBC applications are out and due on Monday President Blizzard o Attend SAC info nights if interested and have to go to info session to apply Senator Naab o Are having banner day for the SMU game brought a banner for SG Senator Sykes o Wanted to reiterate about the student information system meeting o If you are interested in SG outreach you can attend meeting on Monday Senator Smith o Tomorrow is having a shadow following him Senator Gearhart o Please vote for EWBUC because they are competing for $6,000 Senator Partie o If anyone is interested in attending Quattlebaum s concert let him know he will be attending Senator Akomolede o There is a DAAP fashion show on Friday so please attend Chief Beer

o Next Tuesday is Mr. University is next Tuesday and all benefits go to ProKids Senator Saunders o Remember to get tickets to the November 26 th Basketball game.
