On 10/09/2010 at approxmately 0530 hrs, Offcer R. Rollns of the Hckory Polce Department arrved at the resdence of 21 21 st Avenue Northwest Hckory, North Carolna. Upon hs arrval, Offcer R. Rollns was approached by a Hckoy Frefghter and was advsed that they had responded n reference to a fre on a mulch ple behnd the resdence. 3. Offcer R. Rollns advsed that the frefghter advsed the passenger sde doors of a slver n color 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe bearng North Carolna regstraton located at the resdence were open and a Duke Power envelope wth handwrtng was located on the front wndsheld. Offcer R. Rollns approached the slver n color Chevrolet Tahoe and smelled the odor of gasolne emttng from nsde the slver n color Chevrolet Tahoe bearng North Carolna regstraton 4. Rollns and the Hckory Polce Department left the resdence of 21 21 st Avenue Northwest hckory, North Carolna after nvestgatng the small grass fre reference to arson. 7. On 10/09/2010 at approxmately 1400 hrs, the Hckoy Polce Department responded to the resdence of 21 21 sl Avenue Northwest Hckory, North Carolna after recevng a call from Adam Baker statng that last nght someone had poured gas n Adam Baker's car and left a note statng that they had hs bosses' daughter. Adam Baker beleves they took hs daughter, Zahra Baker, W/F DOB 11/16/1999. 8. An offcer of the Hckory Polce Department responded to the resdence of 21 21 st Avenue Northwest Hckory, North Carolna and searched the resdence wth consent from Adam Baker and Elsa Baker. Zahra.
