European Asylum Support Office Acts as a centre of expertise on asylum; Helps to improve the implementation of the Common European Asylum System; Facilitates, coordinates and strengthens practical cooperation among Member States in the field of asylum; Provides support to Member States whose asylum and reception systems are under particular pressure.

EASO Training Curriculum Vocational training curriculum for asylum officials in the EU; Based on EU-acquis and international laws; Developed since 2005 by GDISC and managed mainly by SE and NL; Since 2012 operated and further developed by EASO; Interactive learning developed by teams of Member State experts and thoroughly reviewed by EASO Reference Group; Blended learning method: self-studies by e-learning/face-toface; Practical approach; Multiplying effect.

Country of Origin Information EASO gathers targeted, relevant, reliable, accurate and up-todate country of origin information; EASO elaborates a common format and methodology for researching and presenting; EASO COI reports (see www.easo.europa.eu); EASO organises country-specific practical cooperation workshops.

EASO Operational Support EASO Special Support: tailor-made assistance, capacity building, facilitation and coordination of relocation, specific support and special quality control processes. EASO Emergency Support: organising solidarity for Member States subject to particular pressures.

EASO External Dimension
EASO External Dimension EASO aims at strengthening asylum and reception capacity in third countries; EASO activities are in line with the overall EU external relations priorities, the Global Approach to Migration and Mobility (GAMM) and within the framework of the EASO Regulation; EASO has adopted External Action Strategy.
EASO s External Action Strategy Support to CEAS shall focus on the EU Neighbourhood, notably the Southern Mediterranean and Eastern partnership; First projects signed with Morocco, Tunisia and Jordan.
EASO and Prague Process Project partner in the Prague Process Targeted Initiative Quality and training in the asylum processes ; EASO core training module on Inclusion was translated into Russian and Turkish;
Quality Initiative in Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus (QIEE) project 2 EASO training modules on Interview Techniques and Drafting and Decision Making were translated into Russian.
