S-33 SPECIAL EDUCATION SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT FOR STUDENT #784378 Recommendation: Approve the settlement agreement regarding a student s special education program. S-34 2016 EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM (ESY) Recommendation: Approve to provide an Extended School Year program for special education students. E-30 CONSULTANT SERVICES Recommendation: Approve/ratify consultants and/or contractors as presented. E-31 THINK TOGETHER EARLY LITERACY AND MATH PROGRAM AGREEMENT Recommendation: Approve the THINK Together Early Literacy and Math Program Agreement for the term of July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. E-32 2016 PRESCHOOL ACADEMY JUMPSTART SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM Recommendation: Approve to provide a fee based summer program for Preschool Academy students. E-33 ORANGE COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS AND HUNTINGTON BEACH CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT (HBCSD) AGREEMENT #42978 Recommendation: Approve the agreement between the Orange County Superintendent of Schools and Huntington Beach City School District (HBCSD) to deliver mathematics coaching professional development during the 2016-17 school year. E-34 ORANGE COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS AND HUNTINGTON BEACH CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT (HBCSD) AGREEMENT #42979 Recommendation: Approve the agreement between the Orange County Superintendent of Schools and Huntington Beach City School District (HBCSD) to deliver English Language Arts/English Language Development (ELA/ELD) coaching professional development during the 2016-17 school year. A-68 PURCHASE ORDERS Recommendation: Approve Purchase Order Detail Report from 4/1/16 to 4/29/16 in the amount of $434,875.81. A-69 CHECKS Recommendation: Approve the issuance of checks as submitted in the amount of $950,410.76. A-70 FUNDS RECEIVED BY THE DISTRICT Recommendation: Approve the funds to be deposited in the County Treasury through the School Claims Office, Department of Education, County of Orange, in the amount of $1,685,498.47. vi

A-71 RESOLUTION A-71-15/16, TRANSFER/ADJUSTMENTS OF APPROPRIATIONS BETWEEN OBJECT CLASSIFICATIONS Recommendation: Approve Resolution A-71-15/16 to be filed with the School Claims Office, Department of Education, County of Orange, for the time period of July 1, 2015 to April 30, 2016 for the total amount of $705,717 in the General Fund. A-72 ACCEPTANCE OF GIFTS Recommendation: Approve to accept and acknowledge gifts to the district subject to the condition that the district does not guarantee maintenance of these items or expenditures of any school district funds for their continued use. HR-70 EMPLOYMENT TRANSACTIONS CERTIFICATED PERSONNEL Recommendation: Approve/ratify the certificated personnel report as submitted. HR-71 EMPLOYMENT TRANSACTIONS CLASSIFIED PERSONNEL Recommendation: Approve/ratify the classified personnel report as submitted. HR-72 STIPENDS Recommendation: Approve/ratify stipends as submitted. HR-73 RENEWAL OF CLINICAL AFFILIATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY FULLERTON (CSUF) NURSING SCHOOL AND HUNTINGTON BEACH CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT Recommendation: Approve the renewal of the Clinical Affiliation Agreement between California State University Fullerton (CSUF) Nursing School and Huntington Beach City School District from September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2019. XIII. ACTION ITEMS SUPERINTENDENT Mr. Haulk S-35 APPOINTMENT TO SERVE ON THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION, JULY 1, 2016 TO JUNE 30, 2020 Recommendation: Approve to appoint a representative to serve on the Huntington Beach Community Services Commission for a four-year term, effective July 1, 2016. S-36 RESOLUTION NO. S-36-15/16 AND THE ORDER OF BIENNIAL TRUSTEE ELECTION AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE ELECTION ORDER Recommendation: Approve and complete Resolution No. S-36-15/16 and the Order of Biennial Trustee Election and Specifications of the Election Order. S-37 PROPOSED BOARD POLICIES, ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATIONS, AND EXHIBITS CHANGES, SECOND READING Recommendation: Approve the following proposed revisions, deletions, and/or additions to Board Policies (BP), Administrative Regulations (AR), and Exhibits (E), second reading. v

A-74 RESOLUTION A-74-15/16 OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE HUNTINGTON BEACH CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY Recommendation: Approve Resolution A-74-15/16 authorizing the sale of surplus real property at 20451 Craimer Lane, in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, formerly known as the LeBard Elementary School and more recently used as the District Education Center. HUMAN RESOURCES Ms. Hager HR-74 RESOLUTION HR-74-15/16, ELIMINATION OF POSITIONS Recommendation: Approve Resolution HR-74-15/16 authorizing the elimination of classified positions due to lack of work and/or funds. HR-77 RENEWAL OF AGREEMENT WITH DANNIS WOLIVER KELLEY Recommendation: Approve the renewal of the agreement for professional services between the Huntington Beach City School District (HBCSD) and Dannis Woliver Kelley (DWK) for the period July 1, 2016 through and including June 30, 2017.
