NOTE: This office Notification No.HCE 535/2013 dated 17.10.2013, calling applications for 50 posts of Peons (Cooks) STANDS CANCELLED. Hence, applicants who had applied in pursuance of the said Notification, SHALL SUBMIT A FRESH APPLICATION, if educationally qualified as per this notification. However, they need not pay the application fee again and they shall furnish the particulars regarding fee paid earlier i.e., Indian Postal Order No./DD No./Date, in the specified column of the application. Probation: The applicant if appointed shall be initially on probation for a period of two years or for extended period if necessary 7. Age limit: Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years and must not exceed the age of:- (a) 40 years in the case of a person belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Category-I of other Backward Classes. (b) 38 years in the case of a person belonging to Category-II-A, II-B or III-A, III-B of Other Backward Classes; and (c) 35 years in case of others. Those candidates called for Test / Interview will have to appear before the authorities in the premises of the High Court of Karnataka, Principal Bench at Bangalore at their cost. 9. Candidates shall not try to bring extraneous influence by any means in support of his/her candidature for appointment. If any candidate is found to have brought such extraneous influence, then such candidate will be liable for disqualification from appointment. 10. Application fee: A fee of Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty Only) is prescribed for every application. It should be remitted by means of Crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Karnataka, High Court Buildings, Bangalore 560 001, and the same should be submitted along with the application. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances. Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Category I and Physically Handicapped persons are exempted from payment of fees. Application Form:- Application in the prescribed proforma shall be filled in by the candidates in their own handwriting and shall accompany self attested copies of the following certificates. (a) Three Certificates of character, one from the Principal / Head of the Institution in which he/she had last studied and two from respectable persons not related to him/her, testifying to his/her character. (b) Marks Cards of Tenth Standard or Equivalent. (c) Candidates claiming the benefit of reservations /age relaxation under SC /ST /Cat-I/ IIA/ IIB/ IIIA / IIIB shall produce a certificate in the form prescribed by the Government issued by the competent authority. (d) Candidates claiming reservation under Rural / Physically Handicapped / Ex Servicemen / Kannada Medium / Displaced for projects/widow candidates shall produce the certificate in the form prescribed by the Government issued by Competent Authorities. (e) Candidates claiming reservation under Local Cadre i.e., Candidates belonging to Hyderabad Karnataka Region shall produce the relevant certificate issued by the Competent Authority as prescribed under The Karnataka Public Employment (Reservation in appointment for Hyderabad- Karnataka Region) (Issue of Eligibility Certificates) Rules, 2013.
