Call to Order At 7:00 P.M., Mayor John Milligan called the meeting to order. At this time, all those in attendance were asked to recite the Lord s Prayer, in unison, if they so wished. Corporation of the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe 103 Chief Building Official s Report Chief Building Official, Jeff Denomy, was not present at the meeting. Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer, Fran Urbshott, updated Council on his behalf: Update on legal matters, and Council directed staff to proceed with the information presented. Road Supervisor s Report Road Supervisor, Eldon Bryant, updated Council on the following: Seed Road culvert replacement was completed at the end of the last week. Asphalt patching has been completed. Grading is ongoing now until it freezes. Plow equipment is being mounted on the equipment in anticipation of winter. Attended a fuel safety training seminar in Alvinston on November 25 th for Supervisors. Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer s Report Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer, Fran Urbshott, updated Council on the following: Renewal Energy Approval from TCI SECONDED by Councillor MacKinnon Resolved that Council directs Township Planner, Bill Green, and Township Solicitor, Barry Card, to prepare the necessary information needed for TCI Renewable Energy Approval and report back to Council. All costs for planning and legal will be the responsibility of TCI. CARRIED. 2009 Supplementaries and Tax Write-Offs Summary Proposed Water and Sewer Rates 2010 MOVED by Deputy Mayor debruyn SECONDED by Councillor Stokman Resolved that the report received from Mark Harris, Director of Environmental Services be accepted. Also approved is the 2010 Water & Sewer Rates for the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe as set out on Schedule B and Schedule C of the Municipality of Strathroy Caradoc By-Law. CARRIED. Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer and Chief Building Official meeting November 25, 2009 with County of Middlesex Manager of Economic Development, Aileen Murray. Receipt of ISF advance payment December 3, 2009 - Cuddy Drive Project - $75,250.00 - Fire Hall Project - $87,500.00
Corporation of the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe 104 Gas Tax Grant 2 nd payment $51,159.44 received November 20, 2009 MOVED by Councillor MacKinnon SECONDED by Councillor Stokman Resolved that the quote submitted by Pete VanErp, in the amount of $9.50/ft 2, for the bricking of the Kerwood Fire Hall be accepted. CARRIED. MOVED by Councillor Stokman SECONDED by Councillor Bolton Resolved that the quote submitted by Advanced Computers Services Strathroy Ltd. for an Acer Aspire 5732 4392 Notebook Complete, in the amount of $759.00 + applicable taxes, as well as a wireless router at $80.00 + taxes be accepted. CARRIED. SECONDED by Councillor MacKinnon Resolved that Council accepts the terms and conditions and proceed to have Township Solicitor to prepare an Offer to Purchase for property at Concession 5 SER, E. Pt.
