Acted as a Principal Investigator of a one-year research project (April 2009 to March 2010) with Anindya Bhattacharya of Institute for Global Environment Strategies (IGES), Japan, titled Impact of Integrated Watershed Projects on Sustainable Development in India : A Quantitative Approach. The project has been funded by Institute for Global Environment Strategies, Japan. The project report has been submitted on March 15, 2010(within due date). Worked as a co-investigator of a University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India, major project on Sustainable Development of Inland Capture and Culture Fisheries - a case study of selected water bodies in the Burdwan district of West Bengal." The duration of the project has been from 29/05/2002 to 28/05/2005(3 years). The project report has been submitted on due time.
