Janak, the Commissioners Court approved the interim vendor payment dated November 14, 2013, in the amount of $1,323,991.31. CANVAS CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT ELECTION NOVEMBER 5, 2013 VICTORIA COUNTY: (7-3:48) 7. November 18, 2013. Judge Pozzi began by wishing Mr. George Matthews, Elections Administrator, a speedy recovery. Ms. Margetta Hill and Ms. Josie Salas, Elections, were available to answer any questions the Court may have had. Judge Pozzi stated that the population that voted had doubled since the previous year. He was
appreciative of those that exercised their right to vote and encourage all citizens to continue to exercise that right. Commissioners Garcia and Janak stated that the changes in voting locations this year seemed to help with the voter turnout. Commissioner Garcia appreciated the ease in swiping his Driver s License. Judge Pozzi thanked Ms. Hill and Ms. Salas and extended his best wishes to Mr. Matthews. Moved by Clint C. Ives and seconded by Gary Burns, the Commissioners Court approved the canvassed Constitutional Amendment Election of November 5, 2013. ORDER ADOPTING RE-ALIGNMENT OF POLITICAL BOUNDARIES ELECTION PRECINCTS 4 AND 5 CHANGES IN COMMISSIONERS COURT AND JUSTICE PRECINCTS 1 AND 3, INCLUDING AFFIDAVIT OF NO-POPULATION VICTORIA COUNTY: (8-9:34) 8. November 18, 2013. Judge Pozzi stated that this Order is related to the County s purchase of the Hartman Building and the necessary re-alignment of political boundaries to effectuate the inclusion of geographic territory within the Jurisdictional boundaries of Justice of the Peace, Precinct No. 1. This change is necessary to insure that the offices of Justice of the Peace, Precinct No.1 are physically located within the boundaries of Justice of the Peace, Precinct No. 1. Judge Pozzi informed the Court this re-alignment will not affect residences in that area. Judge Pozzi expressed his gratitude to Mr. Barry Hartman. Mr. Hartman sold the property, valued at $1 million, to Victoria County for $300,000 and donated the remaining amount to cover the total cost of the property. Moved by Kevin M. Janak and seconded by Danny Garcia, the Commissioners Court approved the Order Adopting Re-Alignment of Political Boundaries for Election Precincts 4 and 5, and resulting changes in Commissioners Court and Justice Precincts 1 and 3, including Affidavit of No-Population. CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO.1 HOPWA PROGRAM PART B RYAN WHITE- SERVICE DELIVERY BEXAR COUNTY VICTORIA CITY-COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT: (9a-15:25) 9a. November 18, 2013. Moved by Gary Burns and seconded by Clint C. Ives, the Commissioners Court approved Contract Amendment No.1 for the HOPWA Program Agreement reflecting a $4,500 decrease in funding for the current FY14 contract and an increase in funding in the amount of $11,971 for the Part B Ryan White Service Delivery Agreement between Bexar County and the Victoria City-County Health Department. REQUEST RENOVATIONS COUNTY CLERK S OFFICE VICTORIA COUNTY: (11-17:36) 11. November 18, 2013. The Court decided that they would like to see the premises prior to making a decision on the request for renovations to the County Clerk s Office to accommodate court personnel. Judge Pozzi stated that the Court will look into the request again next week. RESOLUTION SECTION 3 TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT NO.711499 VICTORIA COUNTY: (12-22:08) 12. November 18, 2013.
