WHAT IS ROMNEY VICTORY? Romney Victory is a joint fundraising committee between Romney for President, the RNC, and a number of battleground fund states. Romney Victory simplifies the giving process by allowing a donor to make one contribution to fund the various committees to defeat President Obama and the Democrats in November. The legal maximum that an individual can donate to Romney Victory is $75,800 (see attached chart for breakdown). We are asking supporters to make a contribution of at least $50,000 today and become Founding Members of Romney Victory. A donation to Romney Victory will be disbursed to the following entities in the following order: Romney for President Primary Election Account () Romney for President General Election Account () Republican National Committee ($30,800) Battleground fund states ($40,000) In addition to being a Romney Victory Founding Member, $50,000 donors will be invited to a special retreat with Governor Romney at the end of June in California. Additionally, they will have preferred status at our first Presidential Inaugural retreat, as well as yet-to-be determined access at the Republican Convention in Tampa in August. Romney Victory is the official vehicle and formal committee that will raise the money and fund our efforts to defeat Barack Obama and the Democrats. Should Governor Romney not be the nominee, donations will be refunded by request, minus the costs associated with fundraising. 1

ROMNEY VICTORY FAQs Why is a donation to Romney Victory important? Because it is crucial that the Republican Party has the funding it needs for election activities. The Romney campaign, the RNC and the battleground state parties will be working closely through the fall to spend this money wisely. Romney Victory is the vehicle to fund both the campaign and this effort. Some of it will be spent on permissible coordinated activities between the campaign and the party. The remaining will be spent on turning out voters to support the entire Republican ticket. Where does my money go? Contributions to Romney Victory are allocated and distributed to the participating entities Romney for President, the Republican National Committee, and four state parties. The first is given to the Romney for President primary election account. The next is given to the Romney for President general election account. The next $30,800 is contributed to the RNC. The rest is split among four state party committees which receive up to $10,000 each. What are the giving limits? Romney Victory is designed to let you give the maximum amount that can help Governor Romney and the Republican Party under the federal limits. Specifically, federal law prohibits a single individual from giving more than $117,000 during a single election cycle to PACs, parties, and candidates combined. This overall limit has two sub-limits within it: $70,800 to all PACs and party federal accounts combined, and $46,200 to all federal candidates combined. I ve made federal contributions this cycle already. How do I determine my adjusted giving limit? For additional assistance in determining your giving limit, please contact (857) 288-3850 or email VictorySupport@mittromney.com Does my fundraiser ID change? No, all fundraiser identification (FID) numbers remain the same with the Romney Victory account. Will my login to ComMitt remain the same? Yes, your login to the ComMitt system will remain the same. 2
