BEFORE THE PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION OF OREGON UM 1810 In the Matter of PACIFICORP d/b/a PACIFIC POWER Transportation Electrification Outreach and Education Pilot Program NOTICE OF SETTLEMENT, UNOPPOSED MOTION TO SUSPEND THE PROCEDURAL SCHEDULE, AND REQUEST FOR EXPEDITED CONSIDERATION I. NOTICE OF SETTLEMENT PacifiCorp d/b/a/ Pacific Power (Pacific Power or Company) notifies the Public Utility Commission of Oregon (Commission) that it has reached an agreement in principle to resolve the issues raised in this docket with Commission Staff, Citizens Utility Board (CUB), Industrial Customers of Northwest Utilities (ICNU), Forth, Greenlots, and the Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) (collectively, the Stipulating Parties). 1 The Stipulating Parties are working to execute the final settlement stipulation and draft supporting testimony. The Stipulating Parties will provide the Commission with an update on the status of the final stipulation and testimony by July 28, 2017. The Stipulating Parties will file the final stipulation and supporting testimony with the Commission by August 11, 2017. II. MOTION TO SUSPEND THE PROCEDURAL SCHEDULE AND REQUEST FOR EXPEDITED CONSIDERATION Under OAR 860-001-0390(2)(b), -0420(1), and -0420(6), PacifiCorp respectfully asks the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) to suspend the procedural schedule in this docket 1 ChargePoint is the only intervenor to the docket that has objected to the terms of the agreement in principle. UM 1810 NOTICE OF SETTLEMENT AND MOTION TO SUSPEND THE PROCEDURAL SCHEDULE 1
to allow the Stipulating Parties time to finalize the settlement stipulation and prepare supporting testimony. On June 13, 2017, the ALJ granted PacifiCorp's motion to amend the procedural schedule to facilitate ongoing settlement discussions. Since that time, the Stipulating Parties have worked diligently to finalize an agreement in principle and draft a settlement stipulation. The public interest is served by allowing the Stipulating Parties to focus on finalizing the settlement rather than litigation. PacifiCorp has notified the service list of this request. The Stipulating Parties support suspending the procedural schedule. ChargePoint has indicated that it does not oppose suspending the schedule. No other party has objected to suspending the schedule. Because the current procedural schedule's due date for the Company's rebuttal testimony and all parties' cross testimony is today, July 14, 2017, the Company respectfully request expedited consideration of this motion under OAR 860-001-0420( 6). - Respectfully submitted this 14th day of July, 2017. ~~ Dustin T.
