Period and nature of contract: (i) The engagement is purely on contract basis till 31.03.2014from the date of expiry of present contract. However, the contract shall be terminable at any time on prior notice of one month from either side or on payment of one month s remuneration in lieu thereof without assigning any reason. Remuneration: (i) She/He shall be paid consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,000/- (RupeesThirty Thousand) plus Communication Allowance Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred) only per month, from the date of assuming charge after expiry of previous contract period. (ii) She/He shall be covered under Employees Provident Fund Scheme and an amount at present rate shall be deducted from his/her consolidated monthly remuneration. Equal amount shall be contributed by the company and deposited to his/her EPF Account. (iii) She/He will not be entitled to any advance like House Building, Motor Cycle/Car advance etc. and also not be entitled for other fringe benefits such as free electricity, LTC and leave of any other kind except as specified. (iv) She/He will be entitled for TA/DA and accommodation charges for journey performed by her/him in the company s interest as admissible to Class- II officers of M.P.M.K.V.V.C.L, Bhopal, after obtaining competent approval. Other Terms of Contract: Leave: (i) Her/His contract assignment is purely on temporary basis and the person engaged on contract shall have no rights whatsoever to claim for appointment on regular basis. (ii) Her/His contract shall be subject to review by the MD, M.P.M.K.V.V.CL and all matters related to her/his contract shall be processed by the General Manager (Estt.), M.P.M.K.V.V.CL, Bhopal. (iii) The contract engagement shall be terminated automatically after completion of contract period. (iv) She/He shall keep high standard of efficiency, integrity, secrecy, any violation of which or any misconduct during the contract period may lead to termination of contract on payment of one month s remuneration. (i) She/He will be entitled to 20 days leave in a year. Forremaining part of the year, leaves shall be granted on pro-rata basis. No other kind of leave shall be granted. (ii) If she/he remains absent from work habitually without prior permission, this contract shall be liable for termination purely at the discretion of the management of company. General terms and conditions: (v) (vi) (i) She/He shall not engage herself/himself in any other employment either honorary or otherwise during the period of contract. (ii) In case of any change in the address during the course of contract period, it shall be duty of the person engaged on contract to intimate in writing, failing to which the last given address shall be taken as correct and all the communications sent shall deemed to have been delivered at the same address. (iii) In case during the course of contract, any information given by her/him is found false or incorrect, the contract shall be liable for termination without any notice or compensation in lieu of notice. (iv) She/He shall not participate in any employee related union/organization. In case of violation of this clause it will be treated as breach of agreement and her/his contract shall be liable for termination. She/He has to execute a Contract Agreement at the time of reporting,on Non- judicial Stamp paper of Rs. 250/- to serve the company for thecontract period as Assistant Engineer (on contract) as per terms and conditions of this order. The first monthly remuneration will be released, subject to the fulfillment of contract agreement for extended period. 9. The Contract Appointee agrees to diligently, faithfully and to the best of his/her ability conduct and behave himself/herself honestly and obediently towards his/her superiors and management of the Employer and will devote his/her whole time to the work assigned to him/her by the Employer and will not engage himself/herself directly or indirectly in any trade, business or occupation till the end of the period for which he/she is bound to serve the Employer. 10. The Contract Appointee shall observe secrecy and/in no way divulge or disclose to any person or persons what-so-ever, the secrets entrusted to him/her or coming to his/her knowledge in the course of his/her contract period with the Employer either in relation to its work, business or its customers. 11. As per main terms and conditions at the said offer of appointment, the Assistant Engineer (On contract) is required to execute a Contract Agreement on Non-Judicial stamp paper in favor of the Employer, undertaking to serve the Employer for a contract period upto 31.03.2014 as per terms and conditions of order no.md/mk/01/estt/m-hr- III/... The Contract Appointee shall not commit or cause to be committed any waste, damage or other injury to the property and/or goods of the Employer nor shall he/she lend any such property or goods to any persons without the permission of the management of the Employer. 13. For matter not provided for in this Contract Agreement, the Contract Appointee shall be governed as per the terms & conditions of order of appointment & the Rules and Regulation of the Employer in force from time to time. 14. In case the Contract Appointee does not comply with the terms and conditions contained in the order of appointment or the Rules and Regulations of the Employer or the covenants contained in this contract agreement, the Employer will be at liberty to initiate appropriate legal action under Order 37 of the Code of Civil Procedure. 15.
