INFLIBNET CENTRE Infocity, Gandhinagar-382 007 No. NIT/DISP/2015-16 Dated: 15/09/2015 TENDER NOTICE 01 INTRODUCTION The Information and Library Network Centre (here after will be referred as INFLIBNET), is an autonomous Inter University Centre of the University Grants Commission, MHRD, New Delhi. Sealed bids on behalf of Director, INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar invites sealed tenders for disposal of old office equipments & Furniture & fixture etc. items. Desirous firms / Vendors may obtain tender documents on request in writing from P&S Section, INFLIBNET Centre, INFOCITY, Gandhinagar on all working days between 10:00 Hrs to 17:00 Hrs before the due date on payment of Rs.200/- (non- refundable) in form of Demand draft from any of the scheduled bank drawn in the favour of INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar Payable at Gandhinagar. Tender documents can also be downloaded from the website www.inflibnet.ac.in provided the requisite tender fee/cost i.e. Rs. 200/- is enclosed along with the bid as detailed above. 2.0 IMPORTANT DATES Date of Release of Tender 16 th September, 2015 Last Date and Time of Submission of bids 30 th September, 2015 (15:00 Hrs) Date and Time of Opening of Tender 30 th September, 2015 (15:30 Hrs) The bid shall not be accepted after prescribed deadline under any circumstances whatsoever. 3.0 EMD The interested firms / Vendors may put the tender document complete in all respects along with Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs.3,000.00/- in the form of Demand draft/ Bank Guarantee/Banker s Cheque of any scheduled bank drawn in favour of INFLIBNET Centre payable at Gandhinagar and other requisite documents in the Tender Box kept in Security Cabin of INFLIBNET Centre, INFOCITY, Gandhinagar. This office reserves the right to amend or withdraw any of the terms and conditions contained in the Tender Document or to reject any or all tenders without giving any notice or assigning any reason or to cancel the tender. The decision of Director, INFLIBNET Centre, in this regard shall be final and binding on all. 2

TENDER TERMS 1. Incomplete and Unconditional tender will be rejected. 2. The bid shall be written in English only. 3. Quotation should be sent in sealed envelope superscribing the tender inquiry number and date of opening. 4. Tender should be free from CORRECTION & ERASURES. Correction if any must be attested. All amounts shall be indicated both in words as well as in figures. Where there is difference between the amount quoted in words and figures amounts quoted shall prevail. 5. We reserve the right to accept or reject any quotation fully or partly without assigning any reasons. 6. Late or delayed tenders will not be accepted. 7. Where counter terms and conditions printed any cyclostyled condition of purchase having been offered by the tenderer, the same shall not be deemed to have accepted by us, unless our specified written acceptances thereof is obtained. 8. In case of any dispute, difference or objection with regard to any question, claims, right matter or anything whatsoever in any way arising out of, or relating to the contract shall be referred to the sole Arbitration of any Officer appointed by the Director of the Institute of INFLIBNET Centre at the time of reference. The decision of the Arbitration so appointed shall be final and binding on both the parties of the contract. The arbitration proceeding shall be conducted as per Indian arbitration act. 1950. 9. The agency is advised to visit the office before submitting the quotation in order to acquaint with the access of items and inspect the items to be disposed and obtain other connected information. We may also enter into parallel contract with one or more agencies whenever it is necessary. 10. The tender sent by post / Courier must reach this Centre not later than 1500 Hours on September 30 th, 2015. The tender should be send by hand delivery in properly inserted in the Tender Box available at Security cabin of the Centre. 11. The tenderer shall be required to deposit Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) 3,000.00 in the form of Demand Draft / Banker s Cheque in favour of INFLIBNET payable at Gandhinagar. The EMD to unsuccessful tenderers shall be refunded after finalization of contract. No interest will be paid on EMD. Quotation without EMD is liable to rejected. 3

12. When the tender is submitted by firm or by a company, the tender should be signed by the individual, authorized to enter into such commitments on firm / company s behalf. 13. The tender documents are given in duplicate and only one copy of same is to be submitted. The tenderer should sign all the pages of tender documents in token of acceptances of the terms and conditions. 14. JURISDICTION: The Contract/PO shall be governed by the Law of India for the time being in force. The Courts of Ahmedabad/ Gandhinagar only shall have jurisdiction to deal with and decide any legal or dispute arising out of this contract. 15. Vendor must submit his PAN Number Copy. 16. Bids must be deposited/ dropped in the Tender Box placed at security cabin, INFLIBNET CENTRE, INFOCITY, GANDHINAGAR-382007 on or before 19.08.2015 at 1500 hrs. 17.
