What Did I Learn from My Online Teaching Experience? Don t focus solely on theory. Provide a platform for personal stories. Every online student has unique needs that can be addressed in an online course. Be prepared to redirect students that experience technical difficulties. Plan for delayed responses on discussion boards. Ask follow-up questions. Adapt the curriculum as necessary. Accept the shortcomings of an online course.
