Located on the front table will be forms entitled, Speaker Request Form. Please fill one out indicating your name and address and the agenda item or topic you wish to discuss. After completing the form, return it to the Assistant Business Administrator. Thank you for your cooperation. I. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER The meeting will be called to order in the Media Center at Lincoln Roosevelt School. II. EXECUTIVE SESSION The board members will adjourn to Executive Session in the Media Center at Lincoln Roosevelt School to discuss personnel, student matters and matters covered by attorney client privilege. Action may be taken when the Board returns to Public Session in the auditorium. III. IV. The reimbursements listed in this resolution are in compliance with the state travel reimbursement guidelines as established by the Department of the Treasury and Board of Education policy in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:23B-1.1 et. seq. This agreement shall be in effect from the date of execution and is to continue for a period of one year. The fees for services will be in accordance with the Fee Schedule incorporated into this Agreement. *3. RESOLVED, that the Roxbury Township Board of Education approve an agreement with the Randolph YMCA for the use of the main pool and locker rooms (only) Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 2:30-4:00 p.m. at a fee of $175.00 per hour. Personnel (Resolutions 1-17) The following motions recommended by the Superintendent and Interim Business Administrator are non-controversial, a matter of routine business and will be voted on by one motion. LEAVES OF ABSENCE 1. RESOLVED, that Ms. Anne Marsac, ESL Teacher at Eisenhower Middle school, be granted a leave of absence retroactive to September 28, 2016 using available sick and personal days, and thereafter an unpaid leave of absence through October 28, 2016. 2. RESOLVED, that Mrs. Judy Antonelli, Basic Skills Improvement Program Teacher at Nixon Elementary school, be granted a leave of absence retroactive to September 1, 2016 using available sick and personal days, and thereafter an unpaid leave of absence until released by her physician. 3. RESOLVED, that Ms. Kristen Cumming, Secretary to the Assistant Principal at Eisenhower Middle School, be granted a leave of absence effective December 23, 2016 or sooner, if necessary, using available sick days until released by her physician, and thereafter an unpaid leave of absence under the Family Medical Leave Act through February 8, 2017. *4. RESOLVED, that Mr. Israel Lugo, Bus Driver, be granted a leave of absence retroactive to September 22, 2016 using available sick and personal days, and thereafter an unpaid leave of absence under the Family Medical Leave Act until released by his physician. *5. RESOLVED, that Ms. Jennifer Novick be appointed to the position of part-time Title I Paraprofessional at Franklin School effective October 5, 2016 through June 30, 2017 for the 2016/2017 school year. This is a new position. Salary: Step 7 of the 2016/2017 Paraprofessional Guide - $18.91/hour 24 Hours/Week (not to exceed 30 Hours/Week) A background check, as required by law, has been completed. 10. RESOLVED, that Ms. Cheryl Ozkaya be appointed to the position of part-time Cafeteria Aide at Lincoln/Roosevelt School effective October 5, 2016 through June 30, 2017 for the 2016/2017 school year. Ms Ozkaya is replacing Susan LaManna who transferred to another position. Salary: Step 2 of the 2016/2017 Paraprofessional Guide - $15.73/hour 12.5 Hours/Week (not to exceed 30 Hours/Week) A background check, as required by law, has been completed. *Mt. *11. RESOLVED, that the Substitute Secretary listed below be appointed retroactive to September 7, 2016 through June 30, 2017 for the 2016/2017 school year. Heidi Bagonis *12. RESOLVED, that the Substitute Teacher listed below be appointed effective October 5, 2016 through June 30, 2017 for the 2016/2017 school year: Donna Rasmussen 13. RESOLVED, that Ms. Stephanie Friscia be appointed to the position of part-time Permanent Substitute Teacher at Jefferson School effective October 5, 2016 through June 30, 2017 for the 2016/2017 school year. This is a new position. Salary: $125 per diem (not to exceed 4 days per week) A background check, as required by law, has been completed. *14. RESOLVED, that Ms.Sandra Talmadge be appointed to the position of part-time Bus Aide for Transportation effective October 18, 2016, or sooner pending release from her current district, through June 30, 2017 for the 2016/2017 school year. This is a new position. Salary: Step 5 of the 2016/2017 Paraprofessional Guide - $17.61/hour 25 Hours/Week (not to exceed 30 Hours/Week) A background check, as required by law, has been completed. INCREASE IN TIME/SALARY ADJUSTMENT PROFESSIONAL STAFF *15.
