GENERAL OBJECTIVE Promotion of legal migration, prevention of illegal migration and enhancement of return and reintegration assistance programmes
MAIN COMPONENTS/PROJECT OBJECTIVES CAPACITY BUILDING Enhancement and capacity building of the responsible authorities in the field of return migration and readmission management, including legal and policy development; INDIVIDUAL REINTEGRATION ASSISTANCE Support social and economic reintegration of Georgian returning migrants; INMORMATION CAMPAIGN INMORMATION CAMPAIGN Address the Georgian population, both in Georgia and abroad with information on legal migration opportunities towards Europe and available reintegration assistance in the country.
CAPACITY BUILDING Legal and policy base development - cooperation with State Commission on Migration Strategic WG drafting Migration Strategy and associated legislation Labour market consultations bilateral agreements and circular migration schemes Micro-business plan development training on trainers for relevant partners including MC and JCPs staff on assistance in micro business development Training of trainers in the wine sector (2012) Establishment of two new Job and Counseling Centers in Tbilisi and Kutaisi 4 labour market surveys generating information on labor market demand and supply side Development of Reintegration manual
